marchio Gallignani che presenta ad Eima International i suoi nuovi mo-
delli. Si comincia con il GF255a cameramista formatada5/7 rulli an-
teriori più catene e barrette posteriori, pensata per lavorare sia con l’umido che
con il seccomantenendo sempre un’elevata densità. Due i dispositivi di taglio
previsti – SuperCut a 14 coltelli (ha una larghezza di taglio di 70mm) e Super-
Cut a25 coltelli (larghezzada40mm) cheassicuraun flusso rapidodel prodotto
nella camera di pressatura – mentre il sistema di legatura può essere a rete,
spago,oppureprevederli entrambi. Controllateattraverso tecnologia ISOBUS tar-
gata KvernelandMechatronics emonitor Focus, le GF 255 possono essere do-
tate di infaldatore a rotore SuperFeed con DropFlor. La caratteristica vincente
della serie GV 400 –modelli GV 416 e 418 con pick up ad alta produttività (da
2m) o (da 2.20m) – è rappresentata dalla possibilità di trattare diversi tipi di
materiali (paglia, insilatoo fieno) per realizzareballe condiametro compreso tra
0.6 e 1,85mt. Le rotopresse infatti supportano tre diversi sistemi di introdu-
zione del prodotto: “F” a forca semplice; FD a forca doppia; R con rotoreSuper-
Feed. Come laGF 255, anche leGV400 possono essere equipaggiate con il si-
stema di taglioSuperCut a14 o25 coltelli; tra l’altro ogni coltello è protetto da
unsistemadi sicurezzaamolla,che in casodi ostacoli escludeautomaticamente
l’utensilee lo fa tornarenellaposizionedi lavoro inizialedopoaver superato l’o-
stacolo. Pick-up “L” e “XL” anche per la serie GV 520 – due i modelli commer-
cializzati: GV516eGV520 – sviluppatadai tecnici Gallignani per realizzarebal-
le di forma e densità ottimali (2m il diametro). Infatti, grazie al sistema “Intelli-
gent Density” presente nella camera di pressatura, l’operatore può gestire tra-
mitemonitor le tre diverse zone di densità della balla, in base al tipo di prodot-
toda imballare. Inoltre, i tre rulli e le cinque cinghiea regolazionesenza finepre-
senti sempre all’interno della camera ottimizzano la rotazione della balla ridu-
cendo al minimo il rischio di perdite in caso di prodotto secco. Tra gli altri punti
di forza delle GV 520, damenzionare il sistema “Drop Floor” per lavorare non-
stop e la compatibilità con l’ISOBUS.

he Gallignani brand in the Kverneland Group is unveiling three new roundbaler
models at EIMA International. The first up for a preview is the GF 255 variable
chamber equipped with 5/7 front rollers plus chain and rear bars designed for
work on humidmaterials or dry while ensuring the production of a high density bale. Two
cuttingsystemsareavailable for theGF255, theSuperCutwith14knivesandachop length
of70mmand theSuperCutwith25knives forachop lengthof40mmwhichprovidesshort
and precise chops to guarantee a smooth flow of thematerials into the baler. The binding
systemsonoffer canbe for twine,net orboth.Thisbalermodel iscontrolledby ISOBUS tech-
nologydevelopedbyKvernelandGroupMechatronicswhichcanbesuppliedwith theFocus
monitor.TheGF225 canalsobeequippedwith theSuperFeed rotor withultimate capacity
and theDropFloor, standardonFeedRotor andSuperCutmodels.
Thewinning features of the Series GV 400, theGV 416 andGV 418, are high productivity
pick-upsat lengthsof 2mor2.2mand theabilityof thesebalers tohandlea varietyofma-
terials, silage,hayand straw for theproductionof baleswithdiameters from0.6 to1.85m.
Thesemodels support three fork feeder systems.Theseare theF,a single fork, theFDdual-
fork version, and the D SuperFeed rotor system.As for theGF 225, theGV 400machines
can be fittedwith the 14 or 25 knife SuperCut.With this system the knives are equipped
withdual actionprotectionagainst foreign objects. Each knife is individually spring protect-
edandcanmove in twodirections. If asmallerobstaclehits theknife, itwill pivot backwards
without loosing cutting quality and if a larger obstacle hits the knives they can pivot down-
wards intoa safepositionand then immediately return toworkingpositiononce theobsta-
cle has passed.The L and XL extrawide pick-ups are also available for the SeriesGV520,
for the twomodelson themarket, theGV516andGV520,designedby theGallignani tech-
nicians for theproductionof optimum2mdiameter baleswithexcellent structureandden-
sity. Thanks to the baling chamber Intelligent Density system the operator canmonitor the
bale zones,set thesoft core to let thebalebreatheandgradually increasepressure towards
theouter layer.Moreover, the Intelligent Density bale chamber provides a combinationof 3
rollers and 5 endless belts to ensure smooth bale rotation and reduced crop loss, even in
dryconditions.Yetanother strongpoint for theGV520 is theDropFloor function fornon-stop
ISOBUS compatibleoperations.
