The partnership between the Argo Tractors Group, owner of the McCormick, Landini and Valpadana brands, and Topcon Agriculture, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of precision systems applied to agriculture, was launched in recent weeks. Announced in November, at Agritechnica, the agreement with Topcon Agriculture will allow Argo Tractors to continue along the path of corporate transformation, which is increasingly focusing on technological innovation and process digitalization. This obviously without losing sight of the centrality of the “human factor” and customer care, two cornerstones of the entrepreneurial strategy of the Emilia group, which will rely on Topcon Agriculture’s know-how to provide pre and post sales support with specific training for staff, dealers and importers. For its part, Topcon Agriculture will offer a complete portfolio of solutions, integrating Argo’s product offerings with a wide range of technologies, from assisted driving to GPS/GNSS satellite navigation systems. These solutions are designed to improve the operational efficiency of the machines, to increase productivity and reduce running costs. This also preserves the soil and water resources, which represent two strategic objectives in a global scenario affected by climate change. The partnership will therefore become an important competitive advantage for the two entrepreneurial entities. Topcon Agriculture will have the opportunity to integrate its offerings into the Argo Tractors sales network (8 branches worldwide, 130 importers and 2,500 dealers), while the Fabbrico Group will be able to reinforce the technological profile of its offerings, confirming itself as one of the main players in global agricultural machinery.
