As per tradition, the BCS Group arrives at EIMA International with an extensive range of innovations. Here are the details of the highlights of the new collection by the company from Abbiategrasso (Milan).  Specialized tractors: new K105 series. Composed of compact specialized tractors that combine the most advanced “made in BCS” technology with maximum production efficiency and respect for the environment, the new K105 Series (BCS Volcan K105, Ferrari Vega K105, Pasquali Orion K105) sees the debut of the Lombard company in the segment of equal-wheeled tractors with electronic management. These machines are powered by a Kubota 98 horsepower 3.8 litre engine (the latest generation common rail provides precise control of the injection, more efficient combustion, and lower fuel consumption), and are equipped with anti-emission technologies such as the recirculation of EGR exhaust gas, the DOC oxidation catalytic converter, and the DPF anti-particulate filter. The transmission is equally innovative. As explained by the manufacturer, the K105 series tractors are the only ones that adopt a rigorously multi-disc oil-bath electronically controlled clutch. In addition, the EasyDrive electro-hydraulic reverser ensures maximum operating comfort since the user can reverse the direction of travel without taking his hands off the steering wheel and without using the clutch pedal, but simply by acting on the lever on the left side of the steering wheel. Comfort and safety are also guaranteed by the driver’s seat, designed for ergonomics, and the new AIRTECH low-profile cabins, pressurized and certified for category 4.  Haymaking: new Rotex Edelweiss front-mounted disc mowers. In this market segment, BCS expands the range of front-mounted disc mowers with the new Rotex Edelweiss, lighter and more compact, designed specifically to work on alpine terrain and to be combined with all types of drive, including equal-wheeled and special mountain tractors. Available with 5 discs - and from 2017, also with a configuration of 6 and 7 discs - with cutting widths up to 2.85 metres, the Rotex Edelweiss confirm all the benefits of the Rotex Avant NT line, while being even lighter and more compact due to the redesign of the frame, the transmissions, and the bar control box (largely made with light alloy). Equipment for single-axles: the Rollerblade flail mower. The Rollerblade mobile blade single-rotor flail mower, available in widths of 75 and 90 centimetres, is a machine recommended for the heavy duty maintenance of idle land, underbrush, and rustic parks. It is an application equipped with an oil-bath gear transmission, with a sturdy steel structure that guarantees it will last over time.

The cutting single rotor is fixed on bearings that easily withstand the greatest stress (Rollerblade provides top performance on even the most complex soils, such as slopes). The Y-knives pulverize brambles, shrubs, weeds, and spread them uniformly over the entire cutting width, while the anti-scalp rear roller adjusts the height and the wide front opening protected by mobile strips of steel, facilitating the influx of material to be shredded. Upon request, the flail mower can be equipped with mower paddles, thus becoming an effective lawnmower.

Equipment for single-axles: Dual Laser Elasto mowing bar. Finally, there is also news regarding mowing bars for mowers and rotary tiller, with the launch of the super-professional “Dual Laser Elasto” with double alternating movement, equipped with a Laser tooth and self-adjusting elastic blade holders with a 2.10 metre cutting width.

Compared to the Laser bars, the “Dual Laser Elasto” are characterized by a low level of vibrations, thanks to the blade and the comb that move in opposite directions with different weights and motions. This characteristic significantly decreases the wear caused by vibration.
