Time for news at Marzocchi Pompe. The Bologna-based company (production is entirely carried out in the two sites of Casalecchio di Reno and Zola Predosa) specialized in the design, production and marketing of pumps and high-performance gear motors, launches on the market a new range of helical rotor pumps, the "FTP - Fluid Transmission Pump" series, during EIMA 2021. This line is mainly dedicated to low-pressure applications in which low-viscosity fluids are also used, such as - for example - machine tool lubrication circuits, cooling systems, lift systems, and speed control systems for the blades of a wind turbine.

The flagship of this range is the Elika technology, which is covered by two patents and significantly reduces noise and vibration compared to a conventional external gear pump. Elika also minimises pressure fluctuations, thereby increasing the efficiency of the entire system in which it is used. "The FTP series opens up new markets for us and, as part of the Elika family, it confirms how much the latter is the pillar on which our growth strategy is based," said Gabriele Bonfiglioli, managing director of the Bologna-based company, commenting on the debut of the latest addition to Marzocchi Pompe.

"The new pumps help to reduce the noise emissions of the system in which they are applied," Bonfiglioli added, "and this also demonstrates our focus on developing environmentally friendly solutions. We are continuing to develop other innovative product lines that I am convinced will open up new horizons for us".
