Gardini Technik, components for heavy duty applications

Gardini Technik presents itself at Hanover with several new products. Here are the main ones in detail. PW300 gearbox. This is a gearbox for mixing wagons with large vertical augers, which typically work with very dense material and are characterised by input powers of up to 300 Hp and output torques of up to 47,000 Nm. The PW3000 model is a single- or two-stage planetary gearbox (with the possibility of having a bevel-gear gearbox on the input side) consisting of 1"3/4 z 20 input shafts and reinforced supports with the use of high-efficiency bearings.

RE202 box. It is used on forage harvesters with input power of up to 450 Hp and output torque of up to 11,260 Nm. Connected via a cardan shaft to the PTO of the vehicle used, the new gearbox has an L-shaped design, which transmits motion on a single side, towards the mulcher. For this reason, the Bologna-based manufacturer has supplemented the RE202 model with a kit that allows the transmission of motion also in the opposite direction. This solution - says the Emilia-based company in a technical note - enhances the versatility of the component, which is suitable for different types of use. A free wheel splined to the PTO output gear makes the gearbox even safer and more resistant over time. It is also possible to equip the RE202 gearbox with an oil cooling and recirculation system that uses a gear pump fixed on the housing, and with level sensors and temperature detection probes connected to the hydraulic circuit. Another plus of the box presented by Gardini Technik is the two-position gearbox with lever control, which makes it possible to respond to the two different working speeds in forestry and on the road.

DS180 gearbox. This is a gearbox for large manure spreader wagons, working with very dense material, with input powers of up to 250 Hp and output torques of up to 4,700 Nm. In short, it is a model suitable for operating situations that require a particularly heavy effort by the machine.
