In Hanover, the Lombardy-based company ADR is presenting its new and innovative range of "HP Series" brakes ("406 HP" and "3412 HP"). These brakes are specially designed to considerably simplify maintenance work because, in addition to their long life cycle, they allow the brake blocks to be replaced without having to rectify the braking mass. The HP range exploits double-ribbed shoe technology, derived from the industrial sector, which allows the positions of the braking masses to be adjusted with respect to the drum. This feature, combined with the oversized brake shoes, considerably increases the service life of the brakes. With load capacities ranging from 9.5 to 13 tonnes, the HP series is approved for speeds from 30/40 up to 60 kilometres per hour and can be combined with wheel rims ranging from a minimum of 17.5 inches up to 30 inches in diameter. These dimensions are fully compatible with the increasingly intensive use of agricultural machinery, which operates at high speeds and with increasingly high load capacities. Another plus of the "406 HP" and "3412 HP" brakes is the European homologation procedures that agricultural trailer manufacturers can bring to a positive conclusion fairly quickly. At the ADR stand, the spotlight was also on the 410E brake, which stands out for its performance, the strength of its upper blocks and its low maintenance requirements.
