Important new features are coming to the John Deere tractor range. With the new 2024 models, the "deer" manufacturer is introducing the CommandCenter G5 displays in the 6R, 7, 8 and 9 ranges. The redesigned screen includes many functions, including documentation and data synchronisation, JDLink connectivity, as well as variable dose application system and AutoTrac guidance. The 12.8-inch, high-resolution CommandCenter G5 display has been enlarged by 33% since the last version and now features a faster processor. The 6R 2024 Series also features new driving comfort features such as a redesigned steering wheel and steering column for improved road travel, and an innovative damping system available on Premium and Ultimate seats. The 7, 8 and 9 Series tractors feature a new steering system that increases turning ability by 50 per cent - says a note released by the company - thanks to the use of oversized cylinders, which are provided on all vehicles in the range. The 7R Series is equipped with an automotive-type steering wheel that automatically returns to the central position, thus improving the machine's trajectory. All 7, 8, 9 Series tractors are offered with a high-resolution display on the corner post and an integrated StarFire receiverTM 7000.
