The flexibility of the Jolly bushing

There is news coming from Sibo. The company based in Calderara di Reno, in the province of Bologna, wich has specialised in the design and manufacture of steel bushings for agricultural machinery, industrial vehicles and earth-moving equipment for over forty years, is launching an innovative bushing model on the market, called Jolly. It is a bushing developed with a specific treatment that makes the outer surface soft and workable, while the inner surface retains characteristics of particular strength and resistance.

The Jolly model is also notable for its increased thickness compared to a traditional bushing, thanks to which it can be reworked and brought to the correct size. This allows it to be better adapted to damaged and irregular housings, following the appropriate bore of the housing. In addition, the new component presented at Agritechnica by the Emilian company can be replaced directly by the user without the need for a workshop and, therefore, without excessively impacting downtime on the construction site.

Turning to fit the Jolly model to the right size can be done quickly and without the need for specialised personnel, especially since - as stated in a technical note from the company - the application of the bushing does not require any welding. Sibo's latest is primarily intended for use in the construction, agricultural and mining sectors; shapes and sizes can be customised to suit different operating requirements.
