New at Merlo, the TurboFarmer TF27.6 compact telehandler makes its debut, combining the compact size of the P27.6 and the equipment of the TF35.7. The compact dimensions - height 2.02 metres, width 1.86 metres and length 3.91 metres - together with the high manoeuvrability are the TF27.6’s main features, making it suitable for working in tight spaces. The new compact lift is powered by a 2,500 cc Kohler KDI2504 Stage V engine that delivers 75 Hp of power, while the transmission has an oversized 150 cc hydrostatic engine. The engine is managed by means of the EPD (Eco Power Drive) electronic control, which automatically controls and adjusts the engine speed according to the operating conditions, releasing it from the accelerator pedal and reducing fuel consumption. During the design phase, Merlo engineers paid special attention to the lift safety systems. The TF27.6 is equipped with the ASCS (Adaptive Stability Control System), which monitors the machine's parameters in real time. The system provides automatic recognition of the equipment attached to the lifter, reading the load being handled and the position of the axle box. The ASCS also allows setting work limits, automatic digging area, speeds, continuous oil delivery and communication with the rear camera. The cab also ensures high levels of safety, as it is FOPS level II and ROPS certified. The ASCS screen is available as an option, as is the pillar trim and sun shade. The capacitive joystick with direction reverser and second hydraulic function is standard.
