This is a 2,434 cc Kubota 4-cylinder, with a maximum power of 50 Hp (37.3 kWh), the highest on the market, at 2,700 rpm, that equips the new Kubota Gianni Ferrari lawn mower model, the V series. The Reggiolo (Reggio Emilia) manufacturer will present it at Eima International, available in two versions: Turbo V50 and Turbo V50 CRUISER (with cab). While retaining some components and concepts from the Turbo 1, 2, 4 range, a careful study of the details has led to a completely new machine. In addition to the engine, the transmission has been redesigned, moving from a belt-driven solution to a mechanical gearbox with an oil-bath clutch. An innovation that considerably lengthens maintenance intervals. But the real plus of the new V models is the possibility to decide to electrically operate any maintenance and cleaning control while the machine is stopped, in total safety. Indeed, an interface plate with switches, located on the right side of the lift mast, allows any movement of the hydraulic lift and the harvesting basket to be controlled even when the engine is switched off, not only for unloading, maintenance and cleaning operations, but also for lifting the implement and tilting the cab or the platform (thus facilitating maintenance operations). The turbine engagement and disengagement button is located on the same plate, allowing an actuator to engage or disengage the turbine depending on the type of work being performed. The driver's area has been totally modified with: a new steering column, easily adjustable with a spring-loaded linkage system for both height and depth; a Grammer pneumatic seat - as standard - with the option of a heated seat; a compact armrest design, fully reclining to facilitate driver access from both sides, with a simplified control panel for the most frequently used functions from onboard the machine.
