The new year is certain to be of great importance for CM marking forty years of activity as a manufacturer of forklifts, tippers and buckets, a year of turmoil and initiatives focused on strengthening national and international markets. The first appointment, for customers and businesspeople, is in Verona at Fieragricola where CM will bring for introduction some twenty innovations to highlight throughout 2014. Coming up for the trade fair are entire ranges of lifts, tippers, buckets, containers, accessories and such equipment for industry as special forklifts. Among the significant innovations is the Quadruplex CM 20QH forklift designed and built by CM in a version with two double effect lateral lifting cylinders which, with new transverse steel profiles and opportune modifications, greatly improve visibility of the work area to speed up operations and provide greater safety for the operator and other workers. This forklift, which can be mounted on a three-point tractor hitch, has an extraordinary work capacity of 2000 kg and the robustness and reliability of the machine has been strengthened by the installation of sealed roller bearings bronze skates on slides which mean much greater resistance to wear even in the most demanding conditions. The CM 165 FLAP PFR is now considered the top tipper on the market. This machine is ideal for moving bins and tipping containers of various sizes upside down and can handle maximum weight of 1200 kg with forks which can be regulated in width from 570 to 1200 mm to cope with boxes of various sizes. One of the most important features of this tipper is certainly the innovative and patented locking system which, when secured to the bottom of the container leaves the upper opening completely free to ensure that the product inside is totally emptied. Moreover, this tipper is equipped as standard with a sequence valve which allows bins to be locked and turned upside down with a single command plus quick hooking/unhooking and connection tubes. This means that the other than raising the hydraulic pressure during handling, the duration of the battery charge is lengthened and there is less stress on the lift hydraulics. Special valves inside the rotation cylinder automatically eliminate shocks during rotation travel. The retractable fins allow the transport of more containers at the same time. For Fieragricola 2014, a supplementary valve has been added to enable the flaps to return between the forks without waiting for the central support to be completely raised. This feature speeds up work for exchanging one container and another.
