Altra soluzione interessante anche quella proposta da Pel-
lenc, in cui una rete inox consente ai tamburi di adattarsi
alla forma del vigneto senza creare abrasioni ai grappoli,
mentre dei sensori interni ai tamburi stessi consentono di
regolare costantemente la posizione dell’attrezzo.
I sensori hanno già fatto la loropresenzaanche tra lespollo-
natrici. Sensori a contatto (tastatori) si trovano già inmolte
macchinecheoperanoprincipalmentesfruttando l’azionemec-
canica per il trattamento della pianta o per il diserbo (come
Clemens o Braun). Ma già due anni fa è stato segnalato al-
l’EIMAdaTecnovict il primoattrezzo in cui l’utilizzodi disposi-
tivi elettronici consentedi irrorareesclusivamente le fogliedei
polloni, permettendo rispetto al passato un risparmio in pro-
dottoeunamaggiore sostenibilitàambientale.
Interessanti sono le lameorizzontali interceppo chestanno
avendo grandeevidenzaper il risparmiodi prodotti chimici.
Sono piccole attrezzature costruite per tagliare e smuove-
re il terreno sulla fila tra un tronco e l’altro, con un’azione
leggeraallaprofonditàdi pochi centimetri. L’utensileèuna
lama orizzontale di 50 o di 60 cm su cui èmontato un pet-
tine cheha la funzionedi rompere la crosta, sollevare il ter-
reno tagliato, sbriciolarlo e lasciare in superficie a dissec-
carsi le infestanti tagliate. L’azioneavviene grazieadun ta-
statore particolarmente sensibile, che consente una rispo-
sta immediataequindi velocitàdi lavoromaggiori, finoa7-
10 km/h, pur operando vicino alle piante.

consists of a stainless steel net which enables the drums to
adapt to the shapeof the vineyardwithout causingabrasions
on the grapes while sensors inside the drums provide ongo-
ing regulation of the height.

Many machines are equipped with contact sensors which
work mainly by exploiting the mechanical features of plant
treatment andweeding,as is the case for themachines from
Clemens and Braun. As recently as two years ago, EIMA In-
ternational cited Tecnovict as the manufacturer of the first
machine equipped with electronic devices for the exclusive
spraying of cane shoots resulting in savings of the product
andenvironmental sustainability compared topastmethods.
Also of interest are horizontal blades for inter-stump opera-
tionswhichensuregreat savingsof chemical products.These
are small machines built for cutting and removing the soil
frombetweenone trunkandanotherwith lightworkdown to
a few centimeters.The tool is a horizontal blade of 50 to60
cm indiametermountedona combwhich lifts the crust cut,
breaks it up and leaves it on the surface for drying out the
