Italian agriculture aiming for innovation

Agricultural businesses accelerate towards the digital transition. This is what emerges from a survey by the Tagliacarne Study Center which interviewed a sample of 800 companies with at least two employees. 23% of companies in the sector have adopted or intend to adopt 4.0 technologies between 2022 and 2024, but scarce economic resources are holding back investments, for one company out of four. The PNNR, according to the study, could be an opportunity to be exploited, however 69% of the interviewees declare that they will not use this tool, while the remaining 31% of the companies interviewed indicated that they have already activated or intend to activate to access such funds.
