Benzi acquires 100% of C.G.M

Benzi Group has acquired C.G.M., a company based in Senago (Milan), founded in 1953 and specialized in the manufacturing of gears and precision mechanical components. The acquisition will enable the Group to expand its production in strategic sectors such as precision components and power transmission solutions for the marine, off-highway, special vehicle, and machine tool industries. Benzi also plans a major investment program in C.G.M., including the creation of new assembly lines. According to the Group, the plant upgrades aim to boost in-house production of gears and special shafts, an area managed by the division currently focused on manufacturing gearboxes and transmissions for the agricultural machinery sector.
