EIMA INTERNATIONAL 2016
The 2016 edition of the exposition of agricultural
and gardening machinery brought in the brand
new EIMA Desk, a pavilion with a window
dedicated to dissemination of information. A
large number of visitors enlivened the INAIL Live
Shop area. Another positive feature was the

delle trattrici. Secondo i dati degli organizzatori, tra il 9 e il
13 novembre l’officina ha registrato più di mille presenze.
D’altro canto, quello della revisione obbligatoria delle mac-
chine agricole – scattata il 30 giugno 2016 e non ancora
resa operativa con i necessari decreti attuativi – rappre-
senta uno dei temi di maggiore attualità perché si suppone
che, in presenza della normativa, l’avvio della fase operati-
va possa avvenire in tempi brevi coinvolgendo numerosi agri-
coltori e operatori della meccanica agricola.
«Il nostro parco trattrici è composto da circa 1,6 milioni di unità
con età superiore ai venti anni. Di questi – ha spiegato Dome-
nico Papaleo, dell’Ufficio Tecnico di FederUnacoma – ben 700
mila sono sprovvisti del dispositivo di protezione Rops che, in
caso di ribaltamento, può salvare la vita dell’operatore preve-
nendo lo schiacciamento, una delle cause di morte più frequenti
in agricoltura». Il Rops, tuttavia, non è l’unico intervento di mes-
sa a norma richiesto per il superamento della revisione, la qua-
le prevede, tra gli altri, controlli accurati sulla dimensione e sul-
l’usura degli pneumatici; verifiche sul campo di visibilità, con
l’assenza di eventuali zone coperte alla vista, sulla presenza
di protezioni nelle parti calde della macchina e nelle parti in
movimento. Grande attenzione poi, in fase di revisione, agli or-
gani di sterzo, all’impianto di illuminazione e alle emissioni gas-
sose e sonore delle macchine. Insomma, in occasione di EI-
MA International i tecnici hanno spiegato agli operatori, con
semplicità e immediatezza, quali interventi fare sulle trattrici
per essere in regola con le prescrizioni normative e per evita-
re le multe previste in caso di inosservanza.
Sportello INAIL: una finestra sui servizi dell’Istituto
La presenza del punto informativo INAIL, all’interno dello spa-
zio EIMA Desk, ha acquistato particolare importanza alla luce

er, not the only equipment requirement for meeting revision qual-
ifications. Others involve careful checks of the size and wear of
tires, verification of the field of vision and ensuring that there are
no obstacles blocking the operator’s view and protection devices
against the components which heat up and those in motion.
Revision also requires great attention to driving components, lights
and exhaust emissions. In summary, the technicians at the EIMA
International event explained in immediate and easy to under-
stand terms the steps needed to bring tractors up to compliance
with standards to avoid the fines applied for failure to do so.
INAIL Window: a window on the institute’s services
INAIL, the National Institute for Accidents at Work Insurance, op-
erated a window in the EIMA Desk area which took on consider-
able importance due to the financing the institute will make avail-
able for the purchase of agricultural machinery with high levels
of safety with the distribution of funds totaling
€
45 million.
