ai 37.969 del 2015 , e il numero delle “morti bianche”, calate dal-

le 1.210 del 1955 alle 164 (di cui 102 accertati dall’ente previ-

denziale) del 2015. La riduzione degli eventi infortunistici in agri-

coltura – hanno sottolineato i relatori – è proseguito anche nell’ul-

timo quinquennio con una diminuzione del 19,4% per gli incidenti

in generale e del 10,9% per le morti. Dalle statistiche INAIL, inol-

tre, emerge che gli infortuni in agricoltura colpiscono soprattutto gli

uomini (l’80%) che lavorano soprattutto nelle regioni del Nord-Est.

L’incontro di EIMA International promosso dall’INAIL ha dunque rap-

presentato un’importante occasione sia per ripercorrere l’evolu-

zione normativa in materia di sicurezza e infortuni sul lavoro, a un

anno dal centenario dell’introduzione della tutela assicurativa dei

lavoratori agricoli che ricorrerà nel 2017, sia per analizzare l’evolu-

zione del fenomeno infortunistico e delle patologie tipiche di un set-

tore considerato ad alto rischio, affrontando il tema delle presta-

zioni economiche che l’ente eroga in seguito a eventi lesivi di cui i

lavoratori agricoli sono vittime.

E sempre in materia di sicurezza in agricoltura, l’INAIL ha organiz-

zato ad EIMA International altri due incontri di alto profilo. Il work-

shop dal titolo “La filiera della sicurezza in agricoltura: l’attività di

formazione dell’INAIL” si è focalizzato sulla prevenzione degli infor-

tuni sul lavoro,mentre il seminario intitolato “La revisione delle mac-

chine agricole: un’opportunità per migliorare i livelli di sicurezza nei

luoghi di lavoro e nella circolazione stradale” ha affrontato il tema

della sicurezza dal punto di vista dell’obsolescenza delle macchi-

ne agricole ed ha offerto la possibilità di fare il punto sull’attuazio-

ne della normativa in materia di revisione delle trattrici. Da segna-

lare poi, sempre nel contesto delle iniziative della kermesse bolo-

gnese, il grande successo di pubblico riscosso dallo spazio INAIL

nel padiglione EIMA Desk, un’area della rassegna dedicata alle at-

tività divulgative e “di sportello”, organizzata da FederUnacoma in-

sieme con UNACMA, dove i consulenti dell’Istituto hanno avuto la

possibilità di interfacciarsi e di dialogare con i visitatori, interessa-

ti ad avere informazioni su bandi, iniziative e attività dell’ente pre-

posto agli infortuni sul lavoro.

ed to the institute. Speakers also pointed out that the trend

continued over the past five years with a 19.4% drop in ac-

cidents in general and a 10.9% decrease in fatal accidents.

The INAIL statistics also disclosed that 80% of the accidents

in farming can be assigned to men at work mainly in the

northeastern regions.

The EIMA International conference promoted by INAIL also

dealt with the evolution of regulations on safety and on-the-

job accidents in the runup to the 2017 centennial of the in-

troduction of insurance for farm workers, analyses of the

accidents and pathologies typical of this high-risk sector and

the institute’s financial benefits allocated for farm workers

who have been injured.

INAIL also organized two high profile meetings on the issue

of safety in agriculture. One was a workshop given the name

Safety in the Agricultural Supply Chain; INAIL Training Ac-

tivities focused on the prevention of accidents in this field.

The other was a seminar entitled The Revision of Agricul-

tural Machinery: An Opportunity to Improve Safety in the

Place of Work and on Public Roads which covered the issue

of safety associated to obsolete farm machinery and op-

tions for revising tractors to bring them up to date with cur-

rent standards.

Also to report in the setting of the Bologna trade fair was the

great success with the public in the INAIL area in the EIMA

Desk pavilion dedicated to the dissemination of information

and a window set up by FederUnacoma, the Italian Agricul-

tural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, and UNACMA, the

Agricultural Machinery Dealers Association, where institute

representatives dealt directly with visitors seeking informa-

tion on the opening of applications for financing and other

activities pursued by INAIL on work accidents.
