Italian agricultural machinery production slows across all product categories in 2024. The total value of the sector halts at 14 billion euros, marking a 14.5% decline compared to 2023. The segment most affected by the negative climate is the one related to tractors, which dropped by 29% to 1.9 billion euros, followed by components (-17.5%) at 3.3 billion, and incomplete tractors (-17%) at 1.2 billion. The category of agricultural machinery and equipment closed the year with a 9% loss, reaching a total value of 6.8 billion euros. According to FederUnacoma, future production trends may continue to suffer from the uncertainty affecting foreign markets and the downturn of the domestic market, where the decline in sales—first recorded in the 2022–2023 period—is still ongoing.
