L
andini is coming to EIMA International 2012 for the pre-
sentation of a highly interesting preview of the historic
trademark’s strategic planning for the two years to come.
A Landini communiqué reported, “The ongoing renewal of the
range is one of the key factors for winning out against the
challenge of the competition and for this reason, in the com-
ing two-year period we will give further drive to product inno-
vation inspired by our Made in Italy strong point and pay great
attention to the home market as well as those beyond Eu-
rope.” For some of the new features announced by the Reg-
gio Emilia manufacturer, however, there is no need to wait.
This is the case for the Landini 5D Tier 4 Interim tractors built
in three models, the 90, 100 and 110, powered by the Perkins
Tier 4 Interim Common Rail with two valves per cylinder pro-
ducing power at 85 to 102 hp coming to Bologna. “Also avail-
able on markets outside Europe is the Powerfarm with a Tier
3A engine,” the Landini note said. The Perkins Common Rail
Tier 4 Interim engines are making their debut also on the 5H
tractors, the 90, 100, 110 and 115 models, with power be-
tween 85 and 113 hp. This series, which mounts cabs with
improved ergonomics and greater comfort, are produced with
two different sets of equipment.
The Top is equipped with an hydraulic reverser and an elec-
tro-hydraulic PTO and the Techno with a mechanical reverser
and an electro-hydraulic PTO. Also worth mentioning is the
new look of the 5H lineup which provides a preview of the in-
novative family look for the Landini tractors of the future com-
ing out in the versatile 5D Tier 4 Interim in Standard and HC,
high clearance, versions. Another first for the manufacturer is
the restyling of the Landpower already out on a number of Eu-
ropean markets. The Landini fine tuning of this model involved
the cab, totally renewed with the introduction of a more spa-
cious and more comfortable cab built on four mounts and pro-
viding greater visibility, and the transmissions, the electro-hy-
draulic PTO coming as standard equipment and the optional
creeper.

n occasione di Eima International 2012 Landini regala una
succosa anteprima dell’intenso programma di lavoro che
caratterizzerà l’attività dello storico brand nei due anni a ve-
nire. «Il costante rinnovamento della gamma è uno dei fatto-
ri chiave per vincere la sfida della competitività – spiega Lan-
dini con una nota – e per questo nel prossimo biennio dare-
mo ulteriore impulso all’innovazione di prodotto, ispirandoci
ai punti di forza del “nostro” Made in Italy e con una grande
attenzione sia al mercato interno sia a quello extraeuropeo».
Ma per alcune delle novità annunciate dalla casa emiliana
non sarà necessario attendere oltre. E’ il caso, ad esempio,
dei trattori 5D Tier 4 Interim che, proposti in tre modelli (“90”,
“100” e “110”) alimentati dagli innovativi Perkins Tier 4 In-
terim a 2 Valvole Common Rail (potenze da 85 a 102 caval-
li), vengono lanciati proprio nel corso della kermesse bolo-
gnese. «Sui mercati extraeuropei – precisa Landini - saranno
ancora disponibili i Powerfarm con le motorizzazioni Tier 3A».
I propulsori Perkins Common Rail Tier 4 Interim fanno il loro
debutto anche sulle trattrici 5H (“90”, “100”, “110” e “115”)
con potenze comprese tra 85 e 113 cavalli. Per la 5H, equi-
paggiata tra l’altro con un interno cabina più ergonomico e
confortevole, l’azienda di Fabbrico (Reggio Emilia) ha previsto
due differenti allestimenti: “Top” con inversore idraulico e PTO
elettroidraulica, e “Techno” con inversore meccanico e PTO
elettroidraulica. Degno di menzione il nuovo look della linea
5H, che anticipa l’innovativo family feeling delle future gam-
me di trattori Landini e che fa il suo esordio pure sulla ver-
satile gamma 5D Tier 4 Interim disponibile in versione Stan-
dard o HC (High Clearance). “Prima” italiana, infine, per il re-
styling dei Landpower già presentato in alcuni Paesi europei.
Nel caso dei Landpower i “ritocchi” della Landini hanno inte-
ressato tanto la cabina – completamente rinnovata con l’in-
troduzione di una cabina a quattro montanti più confortevo-
le, più spaziosa e più ampia nella visuale – quanto la tra-
smissione, implementata con PTO elettroidraulica di serie e
con Creeper opzionale.
