to the glass for visilibility. The Skyline cab, in fact, mounts a
windshield with a large glass area and side windows for all-
around visibility furthered by wing mirrors electrically adjusted
and a rear camera coming as standard equipment. And night-
fall presents no problem for the M 400s equipped with high in-
tensity H9 lights which light up the combine’s components and
the surrounding work area. Back on the TechTouch Terminal,
the screen provides interface for the driver who can use either
the touch screen or work through a command dial and navi-
gation buttons on the side of the monitor. The high resolution
scratch-proof screen provides an excellent display of informa-
tion and automatically adapts to the changes in light available.
The graphic interface is simple and intuitive, uses the same
command and control logic for all the combine functions and
provides a clear menu displaying symbols which are immedi-
ately recognizable to facilitate onboard operations. All the in-
structions, either those intstalled in the factory or by the end-
user, can be memorized and renamed as many times as need-
ed in cases of change. For this M 400 series, Laverda is bring-
ing out seven models with 6 or 5 straw walkers in versions for
working on the level, the M 410 and 400, and for rice crops,
the M 410 Riso and the M 400 Riso equipped with specific
beaters and counter-beaters, anti-wear Hardox tools designed
especially for rice harvesting and the self-leveling Levelling Con-
cept which works laterally on slopes of up to 20% to keep the
machine perfectly stable. Then there is the M 400 LCI suitable
for operations on slopes with transversal inclines up to 20%
and inclines of 30% uphill and 10% downhill.

la serie M400 grazie ai fari ad alta intensità H9 orientabili
che illuminano sia le componenti della mietitrebbia sia l’area
di lavoro. Tornando al TechTouch Terminal, l’operatore può in-
teragire con esso sia attraverso il touch screeen sia mediante
il comando a manopola e i pulsanti di navigazione sul lato del
monitor. Lo schermo antigraffio ad alta risoluzione, inoltre, ot-
timizza la visualizzazione delle informazioni, adattandosi au-
tomaticamente alla luminosità dell’ambiente. Semplice ed in-
tuitiva, l’interfaccia grafica sfrutta la medesima logica di co-
mando e di controllo per tutte le applicazioni e presenta un
menù chiaro con simboli immediatamente comprensibili, il
che agevola le operazioni a bordo. Naturalmente, tutte le re-
golazioni, sia quelle preinstallate sia quelle personalizzate,
possono essere memorizzate e rinominate più volte in caso
di modifica. Per la serie M 400 Laverda ha previsto sette mo-
delli (a 6 e 5 scuotipaglia) declinati nella versione per lavo-
razioni in pianura (M 410 e 400) e in quella per la risicoltura
(M 410 Riso e M 400 Riso), dotata di battitore e controbat-
titore specifici, di elementi antiusura hardox e specifici per il
riso oltre che di cingolatura con catenarie. M 410 LC e M 400
LC, invece, si presentano con il sistema di livellamento Le-
velling Concept ad azione laterale per pendenze trasversali fi-
no al 20% con la macchina sempre in perfetto assetto, men-
tre l’M 400 LCI è adatto a pendenze trasversali del 20% e a
pendenze del 30% in salita e del 10% in discesa.
