cCormick will arrived at EIMA International 2012 for
the launch of two new tractor lineups, the X50 and
X50 N, on the market, both mounting Perkins Tier 4
Interim engines. The four models in the X50 series, 20, 30,
40 and 50, are the heirs of the T-Max line and are powered
at 85 to 113 hp. The two versions available are the RPS, with
an hydraulic reverser transmission and an electro-hydraulic
PTO, and the SYNCHRO, equipped with a mechanical revers-
er transmission and an electro-hydraulic PTO. Following face-
lifts inside, the cabs display improved ergonomics and over-
all comfort, important features for tractors built for intensive
open field operations and which turn up in all the McCormick
ranges.
The X50M series, on the other hand, is the result of the evo-
lution of the earlier C-Max series. The main characteristics of
the three models in the new line, the 20, 30 and 40, are their
Perkins Tier 4 Interim engines with a power range of between
85 and 102 hp which combine brilliant performance and the
reduced fuel consumption of great importance for keeping
emissions down. The X50M series, as well as the X50s, mount
mechanical transmissions with reversers, are available in
Standard and HC, high clearance, versions and display their
restyling to reflect the concept decided on for the trademark’s
future tractors.
A McCormick official communiqué said, “On the strength of
internationalization which has been completed by now with
the launch of new lines, we are looking forward to an intense
work project for the coming years when, to flank advanced
Tier 4 engines, we will introduce new concepts in esthetics,
a modern and up to date family feeling to become the stan-
dard of reference for our tractors.”

Eima International 2012 McCormick lancia sul merca-
to due nuove linee di trattori, X50 e X50 M, entrambe
equipaggiate con motorizzazioni Perkins Tier 4 Interim.
Erede della serie T-Max, la X50 prevede quattro modelli -
“20”,“30”,“40” e “50” con potenze comprese tra gli 85 e i
113 cavalli – declinati in due versioni: “RPS” con trasmis-
sione ad inversore idraulico e PTO elettroidraulica, e “SYN-
CHRO” con trasmissione ad inversore meccanico e PTO elet-
troidraulica. La cabina si presenta con un nuovo
face-lift
in-
terno a vantaggio dell’ergonomia e del comfort complessivo,
caratteristiche importanti per una gamma pensata per un im-
piego intensivo in campo aperto e in tutte le altre applicazio-
ni aziendali. La serie X50M, invece, è l’evoluzione della pre-
cedente “C-Max”. Caratteristica principale degli X50M – tre
i modelli commercializzati (“20”, “30” e “40”) - sono le mo-
torizzazioni Perkins Tier 4 Interim, che, con un
range
di po-
tenza compreso tra 85 e 102 cavalli, uniscono prestazioni
brillanti e consumi contenuti ad un importante abbattimento
delle emissioni. Dotata di trasmissione meccanica con in-
versore e disponibile nelle versioni Standard e HC - High Clea-
rance, per adattarsi alle diverse esigenze del mercato, la se-
rie X50M (come la X50, del resto) è stata inoltre rinnovata
nel look, per rispecchiare l’innovativo “concept” che caratte-
rizzerà tutte le future gamme di trattori del marchio. «Forti di
un’internazionalità ormai consolidata – sostiene una nota uf-
ficiale della casa costruttrice - con il lancio delle nuove linee
anticipiamo l’intenso progetto di lavoro che caratterizzerà i
prossimi anni, quando introdurremo accanto alle avanzate mo-
torizzazioni Tier 4 anche un nuovo concetto di estetica; un
“family feeling” moderno e attuale che diventerà lo standard
