tesi: questi i numeri della 49

edizione di Agriumbria,

la rassegna dedicata ad agricoltura, zootecnia e alimenta-

zione in programma a Bastia Umbra (PG) dal 31 marzo al 2

aprile 2017. Presso il quartiere fieristico di UmbriaFiere vie-

ne proposta una panoramica completa delle varie filiere agri-

cole con mezzi e attrezzature, dispositivi e servizi per i vari

processi produttivi, con un’ampia esposizione di prodotti fi-

nali, a testimonianza dell’eccellenza qualitativa dell’agroali-

mentare italiano. Sul fronte meccanico-agricolo sono presenti

le case madri dei maggiori marchi di settore con le più recenti

proposte per ogni tipo di lavorazione nel segno di un’agricol-

tura sempre più innovativa, efficiente e rispettosa dell’am-

biente. Il capitolo zootecnico rappresenta come sempre una

parte importante della rassegna, con oltre 600 capi esposti

di tutte le razze italiane da carne. Al consumo di carne in Ita-

lia, Agriumbria dedica un Osservatorio che viene presentato

in apertura di manifestazione, “pensato perché la nostra fie-

ra – secondo le parole del presidente di UmbriaFiere, Lazza-

edition of Agriumbria, the exhi-

bition dedicated to agriculture, livestock and food scheduled

in Bastia Umbra (Perugia) from March 31 to April 2, 2017. At

the UmbriaFiere Exhibition Centre, an exhaustive overview of

the agricultural supply chains with machinery and equipment,

devices and services for various productive processes, and

a wide exposition of final products, show the high quality of

the Italian agri food sector. In terms of mechanics and agri-

culture, are hosted parent companies of the major brands of

the sector with the most recent products for any type of pro-

cessing in the sign of an agriculture that is increasingly in-

novative, efficient and ecofriendly. Livestock represents as al-

ways an important part of the exhibition, with over 600 cat-

tle of all the Italian beef-producing breeds. To meat con-

sumption in Italy, Agriumbria dedicates an Observatory pre-

sented at the opening of the exhibition, “thought in such a

way that our trade fair – according to the words by the pres-

ident of UmbriaFiere, Lazzaro Bogliari – has quality meat as

its core business, a sector increased against the general

downtrend of meat consumption.” In this context, many ini-

tiatives have been scheduled. Beef breeders Anabic in col-

laboration with Associazione Regionale Allevatori (Regional

Breeders Association) has organized an event dedicated to

the Chianina, Romagnola, Marchigiana, Maremmana and

Podolica breeds; the National Exhibition of the Appennine

ovine breed, included in the Assonapa (Herding Italian Asso-

ciation) Herd Book, and the trade fair of Italian rabbit breeds

included in Anci (Italian Association of Rabbit Breeders). Equal-

ly numerous are the initiatives promoted in Bastia by the sec-

tor’s associations. Coldiretti Umbria proposes the Villaggio
