EIMA 2026: the Finalists for the Pellizzi Prize

23.07.2026
The names of the finalists for the 6th edition of the Giuseppe Pellizzi Prize have been announced. This international competition, organized by the Club of Bologna, FederUnacoma, and the Accademia dei Georgofili, is held every two years to recognize the best doctoral dissertations specifically focused on agricultural mechanization.

The Club of Bologna is an international organization founded during EIMA 1989, sponsored by FederUnacoma, which focuses on strategies for agricultural mechanization; the prize is dedicated to the Club’s founder, Giuseppe Pellizzi, who established the Department of Agricultural Engineering at the University of Milan and passed away in 2018.

There are three awards to be presented this year, with four finalists (the last two tied): Manojit Chowdhury (India), Weiyu Hua (China), Eric Mozzanini (Italy), and Pranay Sarkar (India).

The list of winners will be revealed during the awards ceremony scheduled for November 13 in Bologna, as part of EIMA International 2026, on the occasion of the 35th meeting of the Club of Bologna.
