The Ferrara-based FYELD Group headquartered in Bondeno has taken a further step forward by acquiring one of the leading brands in the sowing sector. The company in question is Agricola Italiana, based in Massanzago (Padua), specialised in the manufacture of precision pneumatic seed drills. The Venetian company’s catalogue includes machines for every type of sowing, from multi-row models to large-scale units with folding frames, as well as the latest electronic seed distribution control systems. “With the acquisition of Agricola Italiana, we are consolidating our position in this market segment. Thanks to the expertise within the Padua-based company, we will enhance the Group’s know-how,” commented Massimo Zubelli, the Group’s CEO. The FYELD brand currently has 250 employees and designs, manufactures and markets agricultural machinery from its Italian plants located in Pilastri (Ferrara), Agna (Padua), Massanzago (Padua), San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bologna) and Jesi (Ancona). The Group distributes its products through a network of dealers in over 130 countries worldwide.
