Stihl and Kärcher adopt a common standard for battery-powered tools

On 2 July, gardening machinery manufacturer STIHL and pressure washer manufacturer Kärcher announced a partnership in the field of battery power systems. Thanks to this collaboration, the two German companies have created a new common standard to simplify the management of battery-powered equipment and to contribute to the electrification of professional machinery in both the gardening and environmental hygiene sectors. Based on technology developed by STIHL, the ALLPRO power system will be progressively adopted across the professional equipment ranges of both brands, enabling operators to use the same batteries and chargers on both Kärcher models and STIHL power tools.
