L’
areaespositivacollocataal centrodel quartiere fieristicodi Bologna,
conosciuta come Quadriportico, si prepara ad accogliere i visitatori
di EIMA International con una “livrea” di verde naturale, un paesag-
gio composto da tappeti erbosi, pareti di piante rampicanti, gigantografie re-
troilluminate sui territori italiani, e strutture architettoniche dove vengono ri-
chiamati molti dei contenuti della rassegna.
Nella scenografia verde del Quadriportico, che rappresenta lo snodo per il
passaggiodall’ingressodi PiazzaCostituzioneai padiglioni dell’areaMicheli-
noeper il transitodai padiglioni dell’IngressoNordaquelli dell’areaAldoMo-
ro, sono collocate lemacchine vincitrici del concorso Novità Tecniche, e le
macchine per lamanutenzione del territorio e per il contenimento del disse-
sto idrogeologicoche rappresentanoquest’anno il tema fortedel Salonedel-
lamultifunzionalità EIMAM.i.A.
Grandi schermi sonomontati sullestrutturedi verde verticaleper diffondere fil-
mati divulgativi e promozionali, per trasmettere le edizioni dei notiziari della EI-
MAWebTV (la televisioneche in tempo reale racconta la rassegnae tutti i suoi
eventi) e per riportare in diretta i lavori dei numerosi incontri e convegni che si
tengononellesaledel CentroServizi o inquellecollocatepresso i Padiglioni.

he exhibition area situated in the centre of Bologna’s trade
fair and known as the “Quadriportico”, prepares to welcome
the visitorsof EIMA International witha “natural green livery”:
a landscape consisting of lawns,walls of climbing plants and archi-
tectonical structures recallingmany contents of the exhibition.
In the green scenery of theFour-sided,which is thehub for thepas-
sage from the entrance to Piazza Costituzione to the pavillions of
theMichelinoareaand for the transit from thepavillionsof thenorth-
ern entrance to those located in theAldoMoro area, are displayed
the winning machines of the “Novità Tecniche” (New Technologies)
competition and themachinery for themaintenance of the territo-
ry and the control of hydrogeological instability,which represent this
year’ strong theme at the EIMAM.i.A Salon of Multifunctionality.
Large screens are mounted on structures of vertical greenery to
broadcast informative and promotional videos, to send editions of
thenewsof theEIMAWebTV (the television that in real time tellsall
theevents of theexhibition) and tobroadcast theworkof themeet-
ings and conferences which are being held in the halls of the Ser-
vice Center or in those located by the pavillions.
In thesameareaof the“Quadriportico”areset up themezzanineand
the hall with a television studio for themeetings on streaming,while
at the ground floor extends a conference arena,with a parterre that
canbeeither reducedor expandedbymovinga large transparent slid-
ingwall.A lot of space is given to technology and researchwitha se-
ries of boxes dedicated to research institutions and universities, in
which are being discussed projects in progress and displayed proto-
types in the field ofmechanics andavant-garde electronics.
The intersection in themiddleof theexhibition is of courseequipped
to provide information and guidance to visitors, especially to foreign-
