Lo ha reso noto l’Inail che, in occasione di EIMA Interna-
tional 2014, la rassegnamondiale delle tecnologie per l’a-
gricoltura, hadiffusodi concerto con FederUnacoma lesta-
tistiche relative agli infortuni con le trattrici, riferite agli ul-
timi cinque anni. Le rilevazioni – precisa l’Istituto – com-
prendono gli infortuni cheavvengonoai lavoratori per i qua-
li ricorre la tutela assicurativa dell’Inail; ai lavoratori auto-
nomi abituali, coloro che svolgono attività a titolo hobbisti-
co; ai lavoratori autonomi che,pur potendosi considerarea

tractors followed by collision/crushing. Inail, the Na-
tional Institute of Labor Accident Insurance, with
FederUnacoma reported the statisticsonaccidentswith trac-
tors covering thepast five years at EIMA International 2014,
the world exposition of technologies for agriculture. The in-
stituteexplained that the statistics includeaccidentsofwork-
ers covered by Inail insurance, independent full-time work-
ers, those performing hobbyist activities and self-employed
persons engagedmainly in the direct cultivation of agricul-
tural land.
The institute’sdatadisclose, in fact, that for 70%of the fatal ac-
cidents reported in the2009-2013period thecausewas rollover
and thatcollision/crushingaccounted foradecidedly lowercause,
atabout10%.Other typesofaccidents,suchas thosecausedby
falls from the tractor or starting itwith thedriver on theground,
show lowerpercentages. In theperiodunderstudy rolloverdeaths
declined from84%of the fatalities in2009 to73% in2013with
aminimumat63% in2011whereascollision/crushingaccidents
