l Magnum380CVXdi Case IH si èaggiudicato il Tractor of theYear
2015. La cerimonia di premiazione, cui ha assistito un folto pub-
blicodi rappresentanti dei costruttori di trattori, si è svolta il 12no-
vembre nella cornice di Eima International 2014. Selezionato da una
giuria composta da 23 giornalisti delle maggiori testate europee di
settore, il Magnum 380 CVX si è imposto grazie alla sua trasmissio-
ne a variazione continua CVX, all’ergonomico bracciolo Multicontrol-
ler, e al nuovo sistema di illuminazione a LED. Molto apprezzata dal-
la giuria internazionale anche l’innovativa soluzione “Rowtrac” – una
combinazione di cingoli posteriori e pneumatici anteriori high tech a
bassa pressione – che ottimizza la trazione della trattrice, con il dop-
pio vantaggio di trasferire a terra unamaggiore quantità di potenza e
di ridurre il compattamento del terreno (rispetto allemacchine a cin-
golo unico). «Siamo onorati di aver ricevuto il riconoscimento Tractor
of the Year 2015 – ha commentato Matthew Foster, vicepresidente
di Case IH per l’area EMEA (Europa, Africa eMedioOriente) –. Da 27
anni, i trattori Magnum ricevonoampio consensodapartedegli “esa-
minatori” più severi: gli agricoltori che li utilizzano ogni giorno per il
loro lavoro». Nella categoriadegli specializzati, il riconoscimento “Be-
st of Specialized” è stato assegnato al T3.75F di casa NewHolland,
il top di gamma (eroga 72 cavalli) della serie T3F; unamacchina er-
gonomica e compatta con un raggio di sterzata ideale (3.400 milli-
metri) per muoversi con destrezza tra i filari dei vigneti oppure all’in-
terno dei frutteti. Il terzetto dei vincitori è stato completato dal Deutz
Fahr 9340 TTV, cui è andato il premio di “Golden Tractor for the De-
sign”. Il prossimo appuntamento con il Tractor of the Year è ad Han-
nover, nel novembre 2015.

he Magnum 380 CVX by Case IH was named Tractor of
the Year 2015. The award ceremony was held last No-
vember 12th in the setting of EIMA International 2014.
The Magnum 380 CVX was identified by 23 independent agri-
cultural journalists from the leading trademagazines in 23 Eu-
ropean countries on the basis of the CVX continuously variable
transmission, theergonomicMulticontroller armrest and thenew
LED lighting system.Also cited by the international jurywas the
innovative “Rowtrac” solution for the rear tracks and front high-
tech low-pressure tires optimizing traction with the added ad-
vantages of great power to the groundand less soil compaction
compared to traditional wheeled tractors.
Matthew Foster,VicePresident Case IHEurope and responsible
for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, declared at the award
ceremony, “I ammore than proud to represent Case IH” and re-
ceive theTractor of theYear 2015 award. Hewent on to affirm,
“27 yearsofMagnum tractorsmean27 yearsof approval by the
hardest test personnel you canget, that is farmers in their every-
day practice.”
In the category of the specialists, the Best of Specialists prize
went to the New Holland 72 HP flagship T3.75F in the T3F se-
ries, an ergonomic and compact tractor with an ideal turning
radiusof only3.4meters for greatmaneuverabilitybetween vine-
yard rows and in fruit orchards. The third winner rounding out
theawardswas theDeutz Fahr 9340TTVwhich cameawaywith
theGoldenTractor forDesign.Thenext appointment for theTrac-
tor of theYear series is set for next November inHanover.
