A
number of new features have been wrapped up by the
manufacturer in Caldiero, near Verona, for presentation
at EIMA International. The first in the lineup is a new
range of power harrows, seven fixed and foldable models in all
with working widths extending from 100 to 500 cm. Among the
most important components built into these machines are the
compact b
lades carrier steel shaft made in one forged piece
and the roller bar ensuring excellent leveling.
Berti Macchine
Agricole is also unwrapping a new series of rotary tillers made
up of twelve fixed and displaceable models for tractors of 15
to 220 hp. The working widths of these machines range from
90 to 400 cm and are available with chain or gear transmis-
sions. Coming up at the Bologna trade fair from Berti are mod-
els which have been redesigned and technically upgraded for
improving efficiency and durability.
Among them are the AF/L and TFB/Y vineyard mulchers to be
fitted with belt tensioners as standard equipment. Work on the
AF/L model included enlarging the diameter of the rotor and
extending the left side of the machine and giving it a cham-
fered profile to allow the mulcher to work as close as possible
to the plants. For the TFB/Y model, on the other hand, the roller
has two settings, one automatic and the other self-cleaning,
the hammers are mounted on reinforced bolts for greater dura-
bility and the roller is fitted with spherical sealed bearings.
Automatic belt tensioning and spherical sealed bearings are
also featured on the TA lateral and rear mulcher arriving in
Bologna with new inclined pistons fitted with a block valve,
a larger roller and a reinforced rotor to strengthen the ma-
chine.
On the side of earthmoving, Berti will present two mulcher
heads for mini excavators, the MD/SSL with retractable single
edge hammers and the MX/SSL equipped with a fixed tool car-
rying rotor with Widia steel inserts. These mulchers are robust
machines fitted with oversize rotors for the working of vegetable
products of up to 15 cm Ø and are available in working widths
of 140, 160 and 180 cm.

olte le novità “confezionate” dall’azienda di Caldiero (Ve-
rona) per l’atteso appuntamento con Eima International.
Si parte con l’ingresso della nuova gamma degli erpici –
sette applicazioni in tutto, fisse e pieghevoli, con larghezze di la-
voro da 100 a 500 cm – che presentano tra le caratteristiche più
importanti la dimensione compatta del disco porta coltello, la
stampatura a caldo del rotore portacoltelli e la barra di affina-
mento sul rullo livellatore flottante, per garantire un ottimo livel-
lamento del terreno. La ditta Berti Macchine Agricole introduce
anche la gamma delle zappatrici, composta da 12 modelli (fissi,
spostabili e automatici) per trattrici da 15 a 220 cavalli e con lar-
ghezze di lavoro da 90 a 400 cm, disponibili con trasmissione a
catena o ad ingranaggi. Durante la manifestazione di Bologna ver-
ranno esposti anche alcuni modelli che sono stati riprogettati e
migliorati tecnicamente per aumentare l’efficienza e la durata nel
tempo. In particolare le trinciatrici da vigneto AF/L e TFB/Y, ver-
ranno equipaggiate con tendicinghia automatico di serie. Sul mo-
dello AF/L gli interventi tecnici hanno interessato il diametro del
rotore – maggiorato – e la fiancata laterale, che si presenta con
un profilo arrotondato e senza alcuna sporgenza per avvicinarsi il
più possibile alle piante, mentre sul TFB/Y il rullo presenta due
posizioni, posteriore e autopulente, la cassa è doppia, il sistema
di montaggio delle mazze avviene con bulloni rinforzati per confe-
rire maggiore resistenza alla trincia, e i cuscinetti del rullo sono
oscillanti e a tenuta stagna.
Tendicinghia automatico e cuscinetti a tenuta stagna anche per il
trinciargini TA che si presenta alla kermesse bolognese con nuo-
vi pistoni di inclinazione corredati da una valvola di blocco, con un
rullo maggiorato e con un rotore rinforzato per garantire più robu-
stezza alla macchina. Nel settore del movimento terra, infine, la
Berti tiene a battesimo due trinciatrici per pale cingolate compatte:
la MD/SSL con mazze monotaglienti a scomparsa e la MX/SSL
dotata di un rotore a utensili fissi con inserti in widia. Resistenti
ed equipaggiate con un rotore di grosse dimensioni per materia-
li vegetali con diametro fino a 15 cm, le due applicazioni sono di-
sponibili in tre larghezze di lavoro: 140, 160 e 180 centimetri.
