KT, one of the world’s leading makers of off-highway tyres, is offering sub-
stantial new additions to its already extensive catalogue of specialist ty-
res at Agritechnica 2013 in Hanover.
The Indian multinational is expanding its range for high-power tractors boasting
over 250 HP. In its quest to put heavier loads on lower tyre pressures compared
to standard tyres, the company has added to the AgrimaxForce size range consi-
sting of the IF 710/60 R 30, IF 710/60 R 34 and IF 900/60 R 38 a set of new ty-
re sizes, the IF 600/70 R 30, IF 650/65 R 34, IF 650/85 R 38, IF 800/70 R 38
e IF 710/70 R 42.
The AgrimaxForce is BKT’s top radial tyre, created by an original interpretation of
IF technology. It is flanked by the Agrimax Sparge whose range has been exten-
ded with the VF480/80 R 50. The range is especially adapted to sprayers and si-
milar devices used to treat crops in rows. Design and structure help minimise soil
compaction and maintain productivity.
The Agrimax RT 600 was a range developed for grass surfaces and soft ground
and first appeared at last February’s SIMA fair in Paris. In Hannover, BKT introdu-
ces the 1050/50 R 32 and for trailers, the 750/60 R 30.5 from the FL 630 Su-
per range.
In this case, construction and tread make it suitable for any kind of terrain and hi-
ghway, achieving uniform use and resistance in all tasks on all surfaces.
For the Agrimax Elos range for tractors working on marsh or humid ground, BKT
has introduced the new 480/80 R 42 in time for Agritechnica, where a further two
new products make their debut in Europe, although available in India since the
start of the year. They are the Constar, a specially designed tyre for telehandlers
and Star Trac, the ideal partner for harvesting vehicles used on cotton farms. The
former has an ample area of contact with the surface so that it can handle very
heavy loads, while the mix optimises resistance to cuts and impacts.The latter can
also handle heavy loads, while maintaining traction in the field and high-perfor-
mance for highway transfers.

n occasione della kermesse tedesca, BKT amplia la gamma dei suoi pneu-
matici con nuove misure. Si parte con l’AgrimaxForce per trattori a elevata po-
tenza (superiore ai 250 cavalli), che si arricchisce con le misure IF 600/70 R
30, IF 650/65 R 34, IF 650/85 R 38, IF 800/70 R 38 e IF 710/70 R 42 in ag-
giunta alle IF 710/60 R 30, IF 710/60 R 34 e IF 900/60 R 38. AgrimaxForce è
lo pneumatico radiale top di gamma sviluppato da BKT reinterpretando la Tec-
nologia “IF” per offrire una maggiore capacità di carico a pressioni di gonfiaggio
inferiori rispetto a pneumatici standard di eguale misura. Ampliamento in arrivo
anche per Agrimax Spargo che inaugura la misura VF480/80 R 50, una linea di
pneumatici la cui tecnologia, adatta ad applicazioni sprayer ed a colture in fila-
re, consente di sostenere carichi più pesanti a pressioni invariate rispetto a quel-
le di uno pneumatico standard di uguale misura. Design e struttura, inoltre, con-
tribuiscono a minimizzare la compattazione del suolo e preservare la produtti-
vità. Sulla serie Agrimax RT 600 – una linea sviluppata per i manti erbosi ed i
terreni soffici, presentata lo scorso febbraio al SIMA di Parigi – BKT lancia la mi-
sura 1050/50 R 32, mentre per i trailer l’azienda propone la 750/60 R 30.5
dello pneumatico FL 630 SUPER. Le caratteristiche costruttive e il battistrada di
questo pneumatico lo rendono adatto ad un uso polivalente su qualsiasi terre-
no come su strada, dove si segnala per uniformità di marcia e resistenza. Infi-
ne, per quanto riguarda gli ampliamenti di misure, Agritechnica ospiterà l’inedi-
to 480/80 R 42 per Agrimax Elos, pneumatico per trattori che operano su ter-
reni bagnati e paludosi. BKT presenta inoltre, in anteprima europea, due “new
entry” disponibili sui mercati di riferimento a partire dalla fine di quest’anno. Lo
pneumatico Constar, progettato per mezzi agro-industriali di movimentazione (sol-
levatori telescopici / pale gommate), è dotato di ampi ramponi che aumentano
l’area di contatto con la superficie e consentono di sopportare carichi molto pe-
santi; la specifica mescola utilizzata ne ottimizza la resistenza a tagli e impatti.
Inizialmente, Constar viene proposto nella misura 400/80 – 24. Star Trac, inve-
ce, è stato concepito per macchine adibite alla raccolta nelle piantagioni di co-
tone ed è in grado di sopportare carichi pesanti, garantendo trazione nel lavoro
in campo e prestazioni ad alto rendimento nei trasferimenti su strada. Star Trac
viene esposto ad Agritechnica nella misura VA500/95 D32.
