T
he Aeroking aerator, the Eco Nurse and subsoilers which do
not leave a work crust on the soil are among the products
being brought out with pride for the Selvatici ranges.The new
Aeroking aerator is designed for work on lawns which does not al-
ter the surface features. The aerator works to the depth of 30 cm
forming holes of 2.5 cm Ø spaced 10 cm apart.The aerators up for
presentation at EIMA International are built with a patented sophi-
sticated systemwhich automatically controls the angle at which the
tools enter the ground. Lorenzo Selvatici, the head of the company,
told MondoMacchina/MachineryWorld, “On the earlier versions of
our aerators that operation was more complicated because it was
possible to calibrate the tool carrier only one by one. To optimize
this procedure,” he explained, “we introduced a rotation axle linked
to the entire tool carrier. This way, their inclination can be changed
in a uniform way by calibrating it one time only.” The owner of the
company located in San Lazzaro di Savena on the outskirts of Bo-
logna went on to say, “Thanks to this device, the Aeroking has been
made even more productive, especially for aerating down to the
roots and allowing water flow off.” The restyling of the bodywork to
provide more attractive esthetics has been added to the traditio-
nally robust construction of the machine. The Aeroking is built for
tractors powered at between 20 and 80 hp and is available in
working widths ranging from 120 cm up to 165, 210 and 250 cm.
In the range of Selvatici’s subsoilers coming up is the new .250 se-
ries with models equipped with eight to 32 spades and work widths
of up to 450 cm., tough and reliable machines for tractors of
between 70 and 250 hp. Among the innovations built into this line
are the characteristics of the transmission. Selvatici said, “For the
new 250 we planned a stick shift with two pre-selected speeds out
of fourteen for work at 1000, 750 or 540 PTO rpm and a system
with forced circulation and cooling for the internal centrifuge.” The-
se features, along with steel connecting rods and a self-cleaning
frame done mechanically mean the .250 models can ensure high
performance even in the most demand operating conditions and
provide maintenance intervals of 50 hours.With the 220.250, the
operator can reach the depth of 50 cmwith one single transit, even
on difficult terrain.

ovità in arrivo per le bucatrici Aeroking che, insieme all’Eco
Nurse e alle particolari vangatrici che non creano suola di
lavorazione, rappresentano uno dei fiori all’occhiello della
gamma Selvatici. Progettate per arieggiare i tappeti erbosi senza
alterarne le caratteristiche superficiali – i fori hanno una profon-
dità massima di 30 cm, un diametro fino a 2,5 cm, e sono di-
stanziati di circa 10 cm – le bucatrici Selvatici si presentano a Ei-
ma International con un sofisticato sistema di regolazione auto-
matica dell’angolo d’ingresso degli utensili nel terreno. «Sulle ver-
sioni precedenti dei nostri arieggiatori – spiega a MondoMacchi-
na il titolare dell’azienda, Lorenzo Selvatici – tale operazione ri-
sultava più complessa poiché era possibile calibrare soltanto un
portautensile alla volta». «Per ottimizzare la procedura – spiega
ancora Selvatici - abbiamo introdotto un asse di rotazione che col-
lega tutti i portautensili, così si può cambiare la loro inclinazione
in modo rapido e uniforme calibrandoli ‘in un colpo solo’». “Gra-
zie al nuovo dispositivo – prosegue il titolare dell’azienda di San
Lazzaro di Savena alle porte di Bologna – le Aerokonig sono di-
ventate ancora più produttive, specie per l’arieggiamento delle ra-
dici e il deflusso delle acque». E più accattivanti, in seguito al re-
styling della carrozzeria, che alla sua tradizionale solidità unisce
ora un design più moderno e armonioso. Destinate a trattrici con
potenza da 20 a 80 cavalli, le bucatrici Selvatici sono disponibili
con larghezze di lavoro da 120, 165, 210 e 250 cm. Sulla gam-
ma della vangatrici, invece, si segnala una new entry con l’esor-
dio della serie. 250 (modelli da 8 a 32 vanghe per larghezze fino
a 450 cm), vigorosa e affidabile, pensata per potenze da 70 a
250Hp. Ma si tratta soprattutto di una linea innovativa, in parti-
colare per quanto riguarda le caratteristiche della trasmissione.
«Sulle 250 – conclude Selvatici – abbiamo previsto un cambio a
leva con due velocità preselezionabili su quattordici con la possi-
bilità di lavorare a 1000, 750 o 540 giri alla presa di forza, e adot-
tato un sistema con circolazione e raffreddamento forzati da una
centrifuga interna». Caratteristiche che, unite alle bielle di acciaio
e al telaio autopulente (per via meccanica), permettono ai modelli
.250 di offrire prestazioni elevate perfino nelle condizioni di lavo-
ro più difficili (gli intervalli di manutenzione sono di 50 ore). Con
la serie 220.250, infine, l’operatore può raggiungere anche i 50
cm di profondità in una sola passata, anche su terreni difficili.
