uartiere fieristico al massimo della capienza per ospitare la 41ma
edizione di EIMA International, la grande rassegna dellameccanizza-
zione agricola che si tiene a Bologna dal 12 al 16 novembre prossi-
mo. La Federazione italiana dei costruttori FederUnacoma, organizzatrice del-
la rassegna,dichiara il “tuttoesaurito” per quanto riguarda lasuperficieespo-
sitiva. Sono infatti 150mila i metri quadrati netti già impegnati (circa300mi-
la lordi) – dei quali 130mila all’interno dei padiglioni coperti e climatizzati e
20mila dedicati alle prove dinamiche in esterni – e rappresentano il miglior
risultatostoricoper lamanifestazione, che rispettoall’edizione2012 vede cre-
scere del 10% la superficie espositiva coperta e del 7% quella complessiva.
Le industrie costruttrici partecipanti, sistemate nei padiglioni in base alla ca-
tegoriamerceologica di appartenenza (14 i settori di specializzazione ai qua-
li si aggiungono 4 Saloni tematici), sono ad oggi 1.755 già confermate,men-
tre oltre70 sono quelle ancora in lista d’attesa che si spera possano trovare
collocazione all’interno dei Padiglioni. Tutti in crescita per superficie e nume-
ro di espositori i settori merceologici rappresentati, fra i quali si distinguono
per incremento dimensionale quelli delle trattrici, dellamacchine per la lavo-
razione del terreno, della componentistica e del gardening, settore quest’ulti-
moal qualesi aggiunge il compartodel florovivaismo che rappresentaunano-

he41st editionof EIMA International, thegreat agriculturalmech-
anization exposition scheduled for 12 to 16 November, has
stretched the Bologna trade fair quarters to their maximum. The
ItalianAgricultural MachineryManufacturers Federation, FederUnacoma,
responsible for the organization of the event, has already declared stand-
ing room only for the exhibition area.Already committed are 150,000m²
of the 300,000m² overall, including 130,000m² inside covered and cli-
matizedpavilionsandanother 20,000m² assigned toanoutdoor demon-
stration area. These resultsmark an all-time high for the upcoming expo-
sitionwith an expansion of 10% of the exhibition area and7% overall be-
yond the 2012 edition.
The manufacturing industries attending will take over the pavilions ac-
cording to their merchandise category among the 14 specialized cate-
gories plus the four theme salons. To date, 1,755 companies have con-
firmed their arrival and another 70 have been placed on the waiting list
with hopes of finding a placewithin the pavilions.
All the numbers are growing, exhibition area and exhibitors in their mer-
chandise sectors, including the scaling up of tractors,machinery for soil
preparation, components and gardening, a sector which will bring in a
brand new feature for EIMA International dedicated to floriculture. How-
ever, the review is expandingnot only theexhibitionareaand thenumber
of exhibitors but also on the international side.
At present,570companiesarepreparing toarrive from44countriesaround
theworldand thisnumber is certain togrowwell beyond this figure,and the
558 exhibitors from 41 countries attending the previous edition, thanks to
the waiting list. In this connection plans aremoving ahead for business-to-
businessmeetings among the industries present and the numerous official
foreigndelegations coming toBologna from theAmericas, theBRICS,Africa,
