for thematerial handling sector. Also new is the Comer Industries
entry to the German Mechanical Engineering Association, VDMA,
withmembership formalized during a visit of a delegation from Eu-
rotrans, the EuropeanCommittee of Associations ofManufacturers
of Gears and Transmissions Parts, to the Comer Industries plant in
Matera. Matteo Storchi, Comer Industries’ managing director, said
for the occasion, “In linewith the corporatemission to be preferred
supplier of the leadingmanufacturersof agriculturalmachinery, con-
struction equipment, industrial and renewable energy applications
worldwide,wehavedecided to joinVDMAPowerTransmission to sus-
tain our company’s success.This is a further step to strengthen our

mportanti novità estive per Comer In-
dustries, che ha raggiunto un accordo
conBonfiglioli Riduttori per la cessione
a quest’ultima, da gennaio 2015, delle
proprie quote societarie relative alla pro-
duzione di elettroruote emonoruote epi-
cicloidali. Comer Industriesha infatti scel-
to di concentrare e ottimizzare le proprie
risorse sulle linee di prodotto “core” de-
stinate al settore dellemacchine agrico-
lee industriali. Per Bonfiglioli, invece,que-
sta acquisizione rappresenta un’oppor-
tunitàper espandere lapropriagammadi
monoruoteepicicloidali,guadagnandopo-
sizioni di mercato e completando l’offer-
tadi soluzioni per l’elettromobilità, inpar-
ticolarenel settoredelmaterial handling.
La seconda novità riguarda l’entrata di Comer Industries nell’as-
sociazione tedescadi costruttori di macchineedi Impianti VDMA.
L’adesione formale a questa organizzazione di settore ha avuto
luogo durante la visita della delegazione Eurotrans (Comitato Eu-
ropeo delle Associazioni Manifatturiere di Ingranaggi e Trasmis-
sioni, di cui fa parte il VDMA), presso lo stabilimentoComer Indu-
stries di Matera. «In linea con lamissioneaziendaledi essere for-
nitorepreferitoper i principali costruttorimondiali dimacchineper
l’agricoltura, l’industria, l’edilizia e la produzione di energia rinno-
