Rovatti electric pumps, innovation in water technology

The Rovatti Pompe company from Reggio takes part in EIMA International with many new products. It begins with the 10ER-70 series, a 10” radial flow multistage submersible centrifugal electric pump with external covers, ties and check valve built into the delivery body. Driven by submersible motors standardized by shaft end and mounting flange, this innovative electric pump combines high specific prevalence and large capacity compared to the 10” industry standard.

For the same level of performance, the 10ER-70 Series has overall radial, axial and weight dimensions significantly smaller than the market’s construction standard (reducing masses and volumes has also allowed the constructive use of stainless steel investment casting, a much nobler and high-performance material than cast iron). Top notch hydraulic performance, stainless steel investment casting impellers, and components treated with cataphoresis are the strong points of the new 8E-85 Series, which is noted for its resistance to corrosion and wear. The new 10E-240 range (designed for 10” wells) is also equipped with stainless steel investment casting impellers and components treated with cataphoresis. This series is characterized by the perfect balance between flow rate and specific prevalence able to optimize both the hydraulic efficiency, which is already top of the market, and the number of stages (with the resulting huge savings in terms of construction). Finally, among the other Rovatti Pompe innovations we should mention the new 14E-650 and 16E-1000 series, which implement carbon steel hydraulics and impellers that are hydraulically and dynamically balanced to contain the axial load on the thrust bearing of the electric motor with cataphoresis treatment. In these series, the first impeller is not balanced, so as to eliminate the condition of negative axial load on the motor’s counter-thrust bearing, a solution designed to improve the operation and safety of the electric motor.
