T
he family of Pasquali specialist tractors has been extended
with the arrival of the new Siena K60 line of isodiametrics
built in an AR articulated version with central pivot, the RS
with steered wheels and the MT version with steered wheels for for-
age mowing.These tractors are coming to the market with an array
of noteworthy features, beginning with the silent running and high-
ly reliable 2.2 liter 4-cylinder Kubota V 2203 M-DI power plant with
direct injection and counterclockwise rotation viewed on the flywheel
which turns out 49 hp and great performance with low fuel con-
sumption. The Os Frame oscillating integral frame is part of the trans-
mission updated by the Lombardy manufacturer to increase me-
chanical efficiency and the stability of the tractor while reducing the
center of gravity without sacrificing ground clearance. These fea-
tures are essential for the Siena K60 range, specialists designed for
operations on row crops, in greenhouses and the maintenance of
green areas. The Long Life multi-disc oil-bath clutch Pasquali se-
lected for these tractors enables immediate gear engagement for
reducing engine shock and lengthening the lifespan of the machine.
The synchronized 24-speed gearbox, 12 FW+12 RV, with synchro-
nized invertor was designed to lighten engine load, optimize fuel
consumption and facilitate work. Logical shifting without speed over-
lapping throughout the range enables the driver to select the speed
most suitable for the work being performed. Also the Siena K60’s
double-circuit hydraulic system provides high performance. The lift
pump and distributors have a total maximum capacity of 35 lt/min
whereas those for the hydro drive steering device and services reach
22 lt/min, compatible with most implements. These specialists are
equipped with four axles with planetary gears which made it possi-
ble for Pasquali to reduce the wheelbase to a short 139 cm to give
these tractors amazing maneuverability.

L
a famiglia degli isodiametrici Pasquali diventa ancora più
numerosa con il lancio dei nuovi specializzati Siena K60
che, realizzati nella versione con articolazione centrale
(
AR)
, a ruote sterzanti (
RS)
e a ruote sterzanti configurate per
la fienagione (
MT),
si presentano sul mercato con molte ca-
ratteristiche di pregio. Si parte con il propulsore: un silenzio-
so e affidabile quattro cilindri Kubota V 2203 M-DI ad inie-
zione diretta con masse controrotanti – con i suoi 2,2 litri ero-
ga una potenza di 49 cavalli – sobrio nei consumi ma gene-
roso nelle prestazioni. E si prosegue con la trasmissione, un
modello “Os Frame” opportunamente aggiornato, grazie alla
quale l’impresa lombarda è riuscita da un lato a valorizzare
l’efficienza meccanica e la stabilità della trattrice, dall’altro
ad abbassarne il baricentro senza però sacrificare la luce li-
bera al suolo, essenziale per il campo di impiego cui sono de-
stinati i Siena K60 (colture in filari, lavorazione in serra, ma-
nutenzione del verde). Per quanto riguarda la frizione, Pasquali
ha puntato su una Long-Life multi-disco in bagno d’olio, in-
serita all’interno della trasmissione per ridurre lo sbalzo del
propulsore e, quindi, la lunghezza del mezzo. Al Cambio Sin-
cro a 24 velocità (12 AV + 12 RM) con inversore sincronizza-
to è invece affidato il compito di alleggerire i “carichi” del mo-
tore, ottimizzare i consumi di carburante, migliorare la qualità
delle lavorazioni. La sequenza logica delle velocità, senza so-
vrapposizioni in tutte le gamme, permette infatti all’utilizza-
tore di selezionare sempre la marcia più adeguata in funzio-
ne degli interventi da eseguire. Prestazioni di alto livello an-
che per l’impianto idraulico a doppio circuito – la pompa per
il sollevatore e i distributori ha una portata massima com-
plessiva di 35 lt/min, mentre quella in dotazione all’idrogui-
da ed ai servizi di 22 lt/min - compatibile con la maggior par-
te delle attrezzature. I Siena K60, infine, sono equipaggiati
sui quattro assali con riduttori epicicloidali che riducono al
minimo il passo della macchina (il passo corto è di 139 cm)
e le conferiscono una spiccata agilità di manovre.
