randi novità al salone di Hannover per John Deere. La ca-
sa del cervo si presenta alla rassegna tedesca con ag-
giornamenti e dispositivi inediti sulla gamma “premium,
ma soprattutto con un ampliamento della stessa, rivolto alle azien-
de agricole di piccole e medie dimensioni o a quelle specializza-
te, nonché alle municipalità e ad altri soggetti attivi nel campo
della manutenzione del verde. Per quanto riguarda la gamma tra-
dizionale, la casa americana punta ancora sulle macchine di ele-
vata potenza, con l’obiettivo di migliorarne l’efficienza e il comfort.
Nuove tecnologie e maggiore ergonomia rendono i trattori della
Serie 7R e 8R più interessanti per le aziende agricole e per i con-
toterzisti. La nuova gamma sarà costituita da cinque modelli, in
grado di erogare rispettivamente 210, 230, 250, 270 e 290 CV
a regime nominale. Per le applicazioni di trasporto e con PTO, la
gestione intelligente della potenza (IPM) espressa da questi mo-
tori offre 22 CV supplementari nel 7290R e 30 CV supplementa-
ri negli altri modelli. Per i trattori Serie 7R e 8R, John Deere con-
tinuerà a offrire motori solo diesel conformi alla normativa Stage
IIIB, sebbene ulteriormente perfezionati. I nuovi trattori Serie 7R
saranno equipaggiati con una trasmissione e23 di nuova conce-
zione, con 23 marce avanti, 11 marce indietro ed Efficiency Ma-
nager. Questa funzione consente all’operatore di preimpostare la
velocità di lavoro e risparmiare carburante mantenendo il motore
a un regime ottimale. Nuova anche la cabina CommandView III
caratterizzata da un sedile girevole a 40° con prolungamento del-

mportant news at the Hanover fair for John Deere.The house of the deer
emblem is attending the German trade event with a range of updates and
brand new devices on its “Premium” range and, especially with an exten-
sion of the range aimed at small and medium-sized farms or specialised con-
cerns, municipal works departments and operators working in the open spa-
ce and parks maintenance sector.With regard to the traditional range, the US
manufacturer is still focusing on its high power machines with the aim of im-
proving efficiency and comfort. New technology and enhanced ergonomics
make the 7R and 8R Series tractors more attractive for farm estates and agri-
cultural contractors. The new range will be composed of five models, able to
deliver, respectively, 210, 230, 250, 270 and 290 HP at rated engine revs.
For transport and PTO applications the intelligent power management system
(IPM) governing these engines offers an extra 22 HP for the 7290R and an
extra 30 PH for the other models. For the Series 7R and 8R tractors John
Deere will continue to offer only diesel power units in compliance with Stage
IIIB regulations, although they have been revised to a greater level of perfec-
tion. The new Series 7R tractors will be equipped with the revolutionary new
e23 transmission with 23 forward speeds, 11 reverse speeds and Efficiency
Manager. This function allows the operator to preset the working speed and
save fuel by keeping the engine running at optimal revs. New developments
also include the CommandView III cab, with its 40° swivelling seat and ex-
tended backrest for even greater operator comfort. John Deere has also im-
proved its wheeled and crawler tractors in the 8R and 8RT series with exclu-
sively diesel engines. Five models capable of delivering, respectively, 270, 295,
320, 345 and 370 HP at rated engine speed, while the crawler versions (8RT)
offer 320, 345 and 370 HP. Some of the new characteristics introduced in
Series 7R tractors will be present also in the 8R Series, first and foremost the
e23 transmission. To optimize efficiency and productivity, the 8R Series ma-
chines have been provided with further significant modifications, including wi-
der trailer hitches in order to simplify coupling of PTO driven implements.With
regard to the extension of the range of small and medium sized John Deere
tractors, there are 8 new series, from the smallest 4Mmodels to the compact
