A great event with over fifty models of agricultural machinery and equipment working between rows of vines and in the open field. This will be the EIMA Show for Expo, the demonstration event for agricultural mechanization held in Becedasco Basso, in the province of Piacenza, on July 3 and 4, presented on June 12 at a press conference held at the hall Consiliare del Palazzo del Podestà di Castell’Arquato. About thirty manufacturers have taken part with their top models in an event organized by the farmers’ association Confagricoltura and the Italian association of agricultural machinery manufacturers FederUnacoma, in collaboration with the Emilia Romagna Region, bringing the most innovative technologies to one of the most traditional territories for agricultural production, and very beautiful in terms of landscape. Italian and foreign farmers, contractors, economic operators (delegations from Australia, Chile, South Korea, Egypt, Russia, South Africa and the USA are expected) as well as engineering and rural area enthusiasts, will come to La Camina’ farm to see the mechanical vehicles at work, to meet the manufacturers’ technicians, to experience first-hand tractors and self-propelled vehicles for every type of work. “The EIMA show formula is well proven, with FederUnacoma using it since the beginning of the nineties, both in the Italian regions and in foreign countries such as Tunisia, India, Albania - said the FederUnacoma Director of Events Marco Acerbi during the press conference - but it always has elements of originality, taking place in different and always very interesting production environments.” “In this case - said Acerbi - there is also the peculiarity of a close connection with Expo 2015, with a tour for Italian and foreign economic operators that includes, together with the presence at the field trials, the visit to the halls of the great exposition in Milan.”

“We are proud that the farm, one of our members, has been chosen as the venue for this event - commented Enrico Chiesa, Chairman of Confagricoltura Piacenza - La Caminà is a historical reality that has renewed itself from generation to generation by investing in wine production, differentiating with farm tourism, innovating without abandoning the tradition and production of typical wines of our territory, primarily Gutturnio and Ortrugo. This event will be an opportunity to further publicize this beautiful reality and the network of companies, with their excellent productions, of which the company is a part.”
