Pioggia Carnevali unveils the new electric self-propelled models in Hanover during Agritechnica. These are the Carmobil E400 and E500 self-propelled sprinklers powered by a solar-powered electric motor. “The machines - explains the company from Porto Mantovano - have been developed with the aim of creating an eco-sustainable irrigation system that could work independently and with any type of liquid, even with solid parts, like in the case of livestock wastewater”. The two self-propelled sprinklers of the Mantua company are also prized for their operating time; thanks to the supplied batteries, they can operate all year round, 24 hours a day, while the switch on the side cover allows you to adjust the recovery speed by choosing between four different modes. A closing solenoid valve controls the cessation of the flow at the end of the recovery, thus avoiding unnecessary water waste, even without an operator. As standard, the two “green” models by Pioggia Carnevali are equipped with PN16 certified virgin polyethylene pipe, a recovery system with an endless screw and a stop bar at the end of the run, a towing rudder for moving, and a sprinkler trolley with 2 adjustable width wheels. Furthermore, the Carmobil E400 and E500 Series are equipped with a sector sprinkler with series of nozzles, pressure gauge, 4 m. high pressure connection hose, electric motor, solar panel with batteries, and 4-speed switch. The E400 model has a 125 metre pipe; on the E500 it is 150 or 100 metres.
