December 2019 | Back

A line of specialized vineyards and orchards, designed for the needs of intensive farming with high added value and the typical work of the municipalities. We’re talking about the F series with power from 75 to 105 horsepower, presented by Valtra at Agritechnica 2019. These are four compact models - the width varies from a minimum of 1.3 to a maximum of 1.5 metres - equipped with heated and air-conditioned cab; the top of the range, on the other hand, is also available with an open cab and anti-rollover protection structure (Rops). This solution is suitable for indoor and pergola cultivation because the height of the machine does not exceed 140 centimetres. Despite its small size, the F series features a top hydraulic system - depending on the model, it reaches up to 100 litres per minute - and a PTO capable of working with a wide range of tools. Two PTO speed settings: 540+540E or 540+1000.There are 24 speeds available on the transmission, with a shuttle forward or backward, offered in mechanical, hydraulic and Powershift versions. As for the propulsion system, Valtra has focused on a 3.4 litre four-cylinder common rail engine that complies with Stage III B emission regulations for narrow tractors. The F Series will be available early 2020, initially in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Great Britain, Austria and Germany, and later also in other markets.
