The PT-300 crawler tool carrier, a top-of-the-line model branded Prime Tech of the “medium weight” segment, rebuild the look by presenting significant technological innovations. A new feeding system with a 7-liter CAT C7.1 Acert engine, with 6 cylinders in line, delivering 302 horses.

The introduction of the new engine, now compliant with the requirements of the Tier 4F standard, required redesigning the engine compartment, expanded in size and equipped with two large doors on each side, to facilitate access to all service points: flexible hoses, components, and hydraulic filters.

Remarkable also are the interventions on the cabin, which is appreciated not only for the low noise levels (less than 79 dB) and vibrations but also for the wide view of the work area and for a subdivision of the interior spaces enhancing the comfort.

Another novelty of the driver’s seat is the 7” digital display, by which the user can set and monitor the main operating parameters of the tool carrier.

In addition, the terminal conveys important information about vehicle diagnostics.

The Prime Tech’s technicians’ re-engineering has also involved the forestry shredder, equipped with a demolition device able to rake and recover the material on the ground, by adjustable slides allowing to select the working depth required by the operator and by screwed counter-blades which can be replaced more quickly.  This feature - the manufacturer underlines with a technical note - is highly profitable as it allows maintenance costs to be kept down.
