Vibra-ter is the name of the new subsoiler made by Badalini, a company based in Mantova, in Rivarolo Mantovano. The application has been shown for the first time at EIMA International in the stands of the Lombard company.  The great strength of the new subsoiler is the considerable depth of work achieved by the machine, which does not require considerable pulling power. “This is made possible - as the manufacturer explains in a technical note - by an eccentric rotary device that gives to tines a helicoidal advancement, to allow easier penetration into the soil. The soil is broken up, but it keeps the original structure. The fertile soil remains on the surface so that it can be easily reached by the roots of plants. Thanks to the anchors working on a large portion of the surface - the manufacturer’s note continues - the ground remains porous and airy even in depth.   This improves the water supply and in it helps water to rise up during droughts.” Also worthy of note, among other innovations presented by the company from Mantova in Bologna, the kit of oscillating discs for harrows. When the disks work making an angle with the horizontal axis, they not only improve the weeding of the infesting roots, but also the aeration and the soil tillage.
