In recent years, the sensitivity of farmers to environmental protection issues has grown significantly, especially with regard to pesticide treatments. This is why Tecomec, a company based in Reggio Emilia, has developed a line of technologies under the Geoline brand dedicated to the pesticide sector. From the most innovative electronic control systems to the most functional mechanical components, Geoline products have been designed and manufactured to ensure great precision in the delivery of pesticide treatments. The Reggio company is a wide and diversified range that which features in its catalogue manual and electric control units, filters, valves, nozzles, for a total offer of 2,300 goods. However, the spearhead of such a rich range is represented by Geosystem series computers, programmed to manage all the parameters of crops treatments, such as pressure, flow, and mapping of the treated area.
These are some of the technologies for agriculture 4.0 that will play a leading role in the exhibition spaces of the Emilian company at SIMA in Paris. That is the reason so much attention is placed on computers for the spraying and weedings, as well as the software solutions for sowing and harvesting. Lastly, prime space is given to the innovative GPS guidance system integrated in the data collection software, which proves to be very useful in the typical applications of precision agriculture.
