Antonio Carraro shows off the fine pieces of its catalogue at Fieragricola. Here are the main flagships of the Paduan brand.

Tiger 4000. Supercompact steering equal-wheeled tractor with 31 horsepower, equipped with a Yanmar 3-cylinder engine (maximum torque at 1700 rpm), replicating at a reduced scale all the features of the Antonio Carraro top of the range. It is characterized by the Actio oscillating frame, low centre of gravity and significant ground clearance. The dimensions are compact, but the driver’s seat is large, ergonomic and comfortable even when on board. Designed for the maintenance or cultivation of farmland, vegetable gardens and greenhouses, Tigre 4000 has an attractive design, functional for moving around vegetation and with a “low muzzle” that provides the operator with an ideal view of the work area, while the massive front bumper, equipped with towing hook, serves at the same time as ballast and skid plate. Finally, the PTO is at 540 rpm and synchronized with all transmission speeds, while the lifter has a maximum capacity of 850 kg.

T Major. This is a line of compact medium-low power machines (49.7 or 56 horsepower) with innovative technical solutions, also in terms of comfort. There are three configurations offered by the company from Campodarsego: two with an Actio steering frame (TCF and TN) and one with an articulated chassis (SNV). If the steering versions offer stability on side slopes and flexibility of use (even in the most inaccessible areas), the articulated models stand out for their top-level performance in narrow-row crops, even with steep vertical slopes. Agile and manoeuvrable, the T Major tractors feature a smooth steering in the most difficult working conditions, thanks to permanent traction and gripping, and to the differential lock system (hydraulic on SNV, mechanical on TCF and TN). The transmission has 12 forward and 12 reverse speeds on 4 synchronized speed ratios, 3 working ranges and an inverter located on the central tunnel. Powered by a 4-cylinder aspirated Yanmar engine (for a power of 49.7 horsepower) and a 56-horsepower turbo-powered VM, the T Major are equipped with adjustment-free oil-bath multiple discs.

Series R. These are machines in line with the Stage 3B parameters and the approvals required by the Mother Regulation. However - the company from Padua points out with a technical note - the construction restyling required by these obligations with the introduction of the anti-particulate filters has been carried out without altering the footprint and dimensions of the previous series. The R Series, available with 98 horsepower, features seven versions with the 10900 code (TRX, TRG, TGF, TTR, SRX, Mach 4 and Mach 2) corresponding to a different configuration of the ACTIO chassis (full swinging frame proposed in all variations: steering, with low centre of gravity, with wide or articulated track). The R Series tractors have reversible steering (except for the TGF model, which is monodirectional) powered by a Kubota 4-cylinder Common Rail turbo engine, electronically controlled. Among the strong points of this range is the traction capacity, increased thanks to a long wheelbase that distributes the tractor’s weight in an optimal way.

Mach 2 And Mach 4 tracked utility vehicles. Mach 2 is a two-track (rear) tractor with 20” front wheels, equipped with a reversible steering frame that offers stability and safety, while Mach 4 is a four-track tractor designed for maximum manoeuvrability. Both are characterized by an eye-catching black livery, and are equipped with reversible steering. The particular configuration of the rubber tracks, explains the manufacturer, offers constant grip and traction even in extreme conditions: sloping, muddy or slimy soils, or in situations inaccessible with tyres. The soil compaction is reduced to a minimum - assures the Venetian company - and is lower than that produced by a person’s tread.
