CNH Industrial joins DataConnect

The DataConnect interface project, recently launched by CLAAS, John Deere and 365FarmNet, now also joined by the CNH group. With the entry of the brands CNH Industrial, Case IH, New Holland Agriculture and STEYR, the cloud-to-cloud project therefore sees the participation of five major brands of agricultural machinery and their respective data transmission platforms. DataConnect allows the exchange of the machines’ data between the different platforms, allowing users to view all information relating to multi-brand fleets within the platform of their choice. Previously, the display of this information resulted in duplications due to the use of separate platforms or web portals for each manufacturer.

The structure of this direct cloud-to-cloud solution guarantees a continuous and automated data flow without any complication for the customer. Real-time data exchange offers a constantly updated overview of the entire fleet. Thanks to this new approach, customers will be able to view their fleet through a single portal. This solution will be usable with hundreds of thousands of machines already connected. The entry of CNH Industrial will allow users of AFS Connect, the data transmission platform of Case IH, of MyPLM Connect for the New Holland brand, and of S-Tech for the STEYR brand, to exchange data from cloud to cloud in real time with both the John Deere Operations Center and CLAAS TELEMATICS or 365FarmNet portals.
