Autumn opened with important recognitions for Ognibene Power, an Emilia Romagna manufacture reporting € 100 million in sales of hydraulic cylinders, steering valves, APS active power steering and other key components for tractors, excavators, forklifts as well as boats, urban hygiene and other applications. The first was conferred in September by Case New Holland Industrial naming Ognibene Power for 2015 Best Supplier Award at a Global Supplier Advisory Council Meeting held in Turin. The jury found the manufacturer to be best supplier for the continuous support and the high flexibility in service levels to CNH production plants and supporting platforms during key product launches. In addition, the company’s high technical know-how on the generation and implementation of technical cost reductions created exceptional values. Also cited was Ognibene’s commitment in following the customer resulting in local productions in all regions, delivering CNH a competitive advantage worldwide. Chairman Claudio Ognibene declared, “I am honored to receive this award today. This relevant result represents the dedication and competence of the people working in Ognibene Power and in its locations in Brazil, India, China, United States and Japan, 756 globally.” The second recognition delivered to Claudio Ognibene came in October in Bologna with the Captains of the Year Award for 2015 established by Fabio Raffaelli and organized by Editutto in collaboration with Schroders Wealth Management and the law firm Lombardi Molinari Segni with the support of the Italian Borse. At that award ceremony, Editutto President Fabio Raffaelli affirmed, “It is really important to recognize and honor businessmen who have been able to make known Italian brands and products around the world. This year eleven entrepreneurs have been awarded for their courage and vision on the world markets in these critical and challenging years of crisis. They have been able to demonstrate, in fact, to what extent the entrepreneurial system of our country is alive and dynamic, as well as to what extent the ability to invest is still high.”
