Cutting performance, reliability and working range. These are the main pluses of the 82T16 brushcutter produced by the German Cramer company and marketed by the Italian branch of Hikoki, a Japanese multinational company specialized in the production of electric tools that “took over” from 2018 the Hitachi Power Tools brand. The 82T16 brushcutter is an 82 Volt battery-powered model equipped with a 1.6 kW brushless motor. The head has four rotation speeds - 4500, 5500, 6000 and 6500 rpm - that can be selected by the user through a special four-phase speed limiter. Depending on the versions (the manufacturer offers three: 80V220, 82V430, 82V860), the machine’s range goes from about 45 minutes on the 80V220 to about 180 on the 82V860. Weighing only 4.5 kilogrammes, the Cramer brushcutter has a cutting width of 46 centimetres. In the electrical technology sector, the spotlight it also aimed at the 40 Volt brushcutter GD40BCB produced by Greenworks and also marketed by Hikoki. Designed for the amateur segment, the GD40BCB model features an integrated, adjustable tubular handle (you can choose between different working positions), a harness, and a variable speed acceleration lever to adapt the machine to the most diverse operating conditions. In addition to the wire (2 millimetres in diameter), the standard equipment also includes a 25 cm disc-blade to cut the thicker grass. The working range is between about 20 minutes for the version with 2Ah battery and about 40 for the 4Ah version.
