Top performance for new Emak brushcutters

Emak launches on the market the new Oleo-Mac BCH 400 and Efco DSH 4000 branded brushcutters, completing the offerings of the H series, designed for domestic and small-scale farming work.

Unlike the compact and lightweight BCH 250 and DSH 2500 models, which are ideal for cleaning small portions of lawn and trimming edges, the two new attachments have a 40 cc displacement and are powerful machines, suitable for more demanding work on medium-sized terrain.

Available in three versions, single handle (S), handlebar (T) and backpack (BP), the new brushcutters are powered by an Emak two-stroke engine with emissions catalytic system, in line with Euro 5 standards.

The BCH 400 and DSH 4000 are equipped with the technical solutions also found in the professional models, such as the three-component crankshaft, the piston with two elastic segments, the steel drive rod on bushings and the anti-vibration systems to guarantee comfort of use.

The cutting device is the new "Tap&Go EVO" head, with a 2.4 mm wire and a wire release system which can be activated without needing to stop the machine, but just by tapping the central cover on the ground. The advantages of these machines include the AlwaysOn system - the ignition switch automatically returns to the on position after each switch-off, avoiding the risk of flooding the engine - and the EasyStart easy ignition, which reduces kickback thanks to a double starting spring. The T and BP versions are also equipped with a three-tooth 255 mm diameter disc.
