Emak's new zero-turn mowers
Emak expands its product line by launching new zero-turn mowers under the Efco, Oleo-Mac, Bertolini, and Nibbi brand names. The ZT 108/19 KV and ZT 117/24 KV models were designed to easily tackle large surface area with obstacles such as trees, flower beds or furniture. Zero-turn technology allows these machines to rotate on their axis thanks to two independent hydrostatic transmissions, minimizing uncut areas during 180-degree turns. The two models feature the Emak twin-cylinder engine: 586 cm3 for the ZT 108/19 KV and 708 cm3 for the ZT 117/24 K V.
A lot of attention has been paid to the design of the driving position, equipped with a high-backed seat, armrests, adjustable control levers and a wide steel platform for easy access to the mower. The user experience is also improved by a storage compartment with USB sockets and a functional dashboard that includes all the main controls, such as the hour meter, accelerator, ignition key and the button for engaging the electromagnetic blade clutch. Other equipment includes front and rear LED headlights that provide optimal visibility even in low light conditions.
Grass cutting is handled by a sturdy pressed steel cutting deck with a non-synchronized double blade system and anti-scalp wheels that allow the deck to adapt to uneven terrain, following its contours and reducing the risk of damaging the turf. The cutting height is easily adjustable via a convenient knob with nine positions ranging from 30 to 100 mm, while the lifting pedal allows you to overcome small obstacles without interrupting your work. The deck also features a quick-release attachment for washing, which simplifies maintenance of the mower. The new mowers are supplied standard with a mulching kit, towing hook and battery charger.
