Chainsaws, Emak expands its range
Emak is expanding its offering in the compact chainsaw segment, introducing the new Oleo-Mac GST 250 R and Efco MT 2500 R. Designed to meet the needs of lawn care professionals, these machines stand out for their precision and stability, made possible by the new rear handle designed specifically for pruning, sectioning and small cutting jobs. The two models are equipped with a professional two-stroke 25,4 cm3 engine with 1.3 Hp power. The Emilia-based company offers them in two bar configurations: a 25 cm carving one with sprocket and ¼” x .043” chain for jobs requiring greater precision and one with a 30 cm bar and 3/8” x .050” chain sprocket for cutting branches with a larger diameter. Some of the distinctive innovations that Emak has introduced on the Oleo-Mac GST 250 R and Efco MT 2500 R include the “OnBoard” clutch with bell and brake band integrated into the crankcase, which prevents the intrusion of foreign bodies and simplifies routine maintenance operations thanks to the quick disassembly of the chain cover. The automatic oil pump is made of aluminum with gears and is controlled by the clutch bell. This solution minimizes flow, optimizing fuel consumption and improving the chainsaw's overall efficiency. The nylon air filter and labyrinth pre-filter protect the engine from dust and debris. From an ergonomic point of view, the new chainsaws feature solutions aimed at operator comfort, including the AlwaysOn switch for quick shutdown with automatic return, and EasyLift oil and fuel caps for quick and safe access when refueling.
