Approximately five hundred hectares of fertile soil, appropriately prepared, host every year the Argentinian itinerant agricultural exhibition Expoagro, that for this year's edition stops over – from March 12 to 15 – in the province of Buenos Aires, between Ramallo and San Nicolás. The exhibition, arrived at its eighth edition and sponsored by the two main national newspapers "Clarín" and "La Nación", is the greatest dynamic exposition of Argentinian machines and agricultural machinery and takes place in different areas – chosen among those with a higher inclination toward agriculture in the South American country – with a large extension of 50 hectares dedicated to the classical exposition of products and services necessary to carry out the agricultural activities. At Expoagro it is possible to know and see in action hundreds of the most recent machines for all crop productions (such as soil processing, seeding, sprinkling, forage harvesting etc.) and to appreciate their technical features thanks to the various tests they have to go through and the explanations given by the staff working for the exhibiting companies. CNH Industrial takes part in the event on a wide area, where are exhibited and put in action machines belonging the group's brands (Iveco, Case IH, Case Construction, New Holland Agriculture, New Holland Construction and FPT Industrial) in order to let farmers know its most recent models of trucks, tractors, combine harvesters, hay tedders and motors. Expoagro can number, by the way, an area dedicated to livestock with a livestock show and a series of meetings, discussions, contests and exhibitions promoted by the main associations representing the farmers of the Argentinian cattle breeds. The Ronda de Negocios area at Expoagro hosts business delegations from more than 30 countries (made of institutional representatives, business-people, sellers and big farms), invited to promote partnerships and synergies with local manufacturers and thus to sponsor the culture of cooperation for the permanent economic and agricultural development. The exhibition includes also the participation of a large number of Argentinian agricultural authorities and institutions, that, while stipulating and renewing cooperation agreements in the four days of the trade fair, confront each other on the main thematic matters of the agricultural sector. FederUnacoma participates in Expoagro with an institutional space in the so-called area "Plaza Internacional", to give information on the activities and services promoted by the Federation and assistance to its associates, who will be able to use the stand as a "B2B point" to meet the sector's local operators. The presence of FederUnacoma at the event is a part of the cooperation underway for several years with the Argentinian Associations of manufacturers Cafma and Afamac and between Eima International and Expoagro. For Carlos Castellani, the president of Cafma, Expoagro is the first trade show of the year in the South American country and represents an important gauge of a first evaluation of mechanic and agricultural domestic market trends. It allows to best calibrate machinery's production and demand and represents an important opportunity for manufacturers, economic operators and farmers to meet and exchange experience. In addition, the exhibition arises as a great "show", with many initiatives and activities capable of attracting the largest public: among these are the national championship for the rebuilding of palings and that for agrochemical fluids' sprinkling, which aims at a responsible use of pesticides.
