After the debut at EIMA International, the new Arag-Ynnova partnership also makes a stop at the SIMA in Paris, where the most innovative solutions for agriculture 4.0 take the stage. The technologies developed by the Venetian company (the headquarters are in Arzergrande between Padua and Chioggia) are addressed to both OEMs and end users. For manufacturers, the demand is mainly focused on optimizing the after-sales service and technical assistance, since these items have a significant impact on the balance sheets of companies. The solutions developed by Arag-Ynnova provide real-time systems monitoring variables of interest and predictive modeling based on data history. Thus, agricultural machinery manufacturers can analyse the vehicles operation patterns, identify any anomalies or situations that involve particular wear, and determine which components must be maintained and within what time frame. The remote configuration and updating of the machines, on the other hand, reduces the interventions by technicians, with a significant cost reduction. As far as end users are concerned, the technologies developed by Arag-Ynnova include management devices for fleets, agricultural processes and work cycles (irrigation, fertilization, seeding, weeding, pesticide use, harvesting, haying, plowing), in addition to systems for analysing crop treatment parameters, which help reduce waste while increasing production and profitability. In the offerings by the Veneto company, the crop traceability systems are very important, from the geolocation of the harvest to the date of sowing, harvesting or sale. In this sector, Arag-Ynnova’s next step - the Paduan company explains in an information note - will be the integration of blockchain technology, migrated from the world of cryptocurrency financial transaction security, in order to track agricultural supply chains.
